Phase 2 releases May 14 on The Burning Crusade Classic anniversary realms

The Burning Crusade Classic Phase 2, styled the Overlords of Outland, launches worldwide on WoW Classic Anniversary realms on May 14, 2026 at 3pm pacific time. This phase continues our adventures in Outland with new content for everyone to experience, let’s take a look at everything that will come to TBC Classic anniversary realms on May 14!

What is in Phase 2?

• The Eye (also called Tempest Keep) raid
• Serpentshrine Cavern raid
• Ogri’la faction daily quests
• Sha’tari faction daily quests
• New Profession recipes
• Druid Swift Flight form
• PVP Arena Season 2

Phase 2 has two new raids, The Eye and Serpentshrine Cavern, but before players can take on either raid they’ll need to complete attunement questlines. Attunement for The Eye begins with the quest The Hand of Guldan from Earthmender Torlok at the Altar of Damnation in Shadowmoon Valley. In order to begin attunement for Serpentshrine Cavern, players will need to locate Skar’this the Heretic in the Heroic Slave Pens dungeon and accept the quest The Cudgel of Kardesh. Both quest lines require running different dungeons and Phase 1 raids to complete so make sure you have a group or be prepared for a lot of LFG.

Two factions, the Ogri’la ogres and Shat’ari Skyguard, will offer new daily quests to complete in order to farm and raise reputation, ultimately earning access to that factions quartermaster and the rewards they sell. The Ogri’la and Shat’ari both have locations accessible only through a flying mount or flight form in the western section of the Blades Edge Mountains but the Shat’ari also have a second location in Terrokar Forest near Skettis.

Druids will be able to acquire a Swift Flight form after completing their own questline that can be picked up at any Druid trainer and picking up the breadcrumb quest Morthis Whisperwind, the only pre-requisite is being trained in Artisan Riding. Finally, anchoring out the phase is Arena season 2 for the PVP crowd, and players can expect season 1 to end a few days ahead of the Phase 2 release.
