It’s another short Tuesday maintenance for World of Warcraft — all realms now back online!

It’s another quick maintenance for World of Warcraft, with only an hour of downtime scheduled for all WoW servers. Last week I had doubts the short maintenance schedule would hold, but instead the servers came up early, so this week I’m going to have a little more faith. Unfortunately, this week’s maintenance has been extended for an extra hour across all realms, making for two hours of maintenance.

Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for Tuesday, May 5:

• Midnight: Offline from 7am – 8am 9am pacific (10am – 11am 12pm eastern)
• Mists of Pandaria Classic: Offline from 7am – 8am 9am pacific (10am – 11am 12pm eastern)
• WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am – 8am 9am pacific (10am – 11am 12pm eastern)
• The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary realms: Offline from 7am – 8am 9am pacific (10am – 11am 12pm eastern)

All World of Warcraft realms are now back online!

Fortunately the extended maintenance was only as extended as listed: all realms came back online after the extra hour of maintenance, and everything seems to be running smoothly.

Over the next month, there’s nothing earth-shattering (cataclysmic?) on the Warcraft agenda, with just a single patch planned across all game variants. Next week (May 14), The Burning Crusade Anniversary realms launch Phase 2, unlocking The Eye, Serpentshrine Cavern, and a simply massive daily quest to-do list — which will likely come with an above average maintenance. But it’s quiet for the rest of the Warcraft realms… at least for now. June will be busier, with the likely launch of Mists of Pandaria Classic Phase 5 (Siege of Orgrimmar) and WoW patch 12.0.7. But with nothing too huge on the horizon, perhaps we’ll see more short maintenance days in the next few weeks before the next round of new content hits.
