All World of Warcraft realms have a (slightly) extended Tuesday maintenance this week — servers back up!

Today’s WoW maintenance isn’t too bad, but it is longer than usual: all World of Warcraft servers are scheduled to be offline for two hours of maintenance. We’ve had a string of short maintenance days, so perhaps we were overdue for some extra downtime — but two hours isn’t too bad, if this week’s maintenance sticks to its schedule.

Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for Tuesday, March 12:

  • Midnight: Offline from 7am – 9am pacific (10am – 12pm eastern)
  • Mists of Pandaria Classic: Offline from 7am – 9am pacific (10am – 12pm eastern)
  • WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am – 9am pacific (10am – 12pm eastern)
  • The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary realms: Offline from 7am – 9am pacific (10am – 12pm eastern)

All World of Warcraft servers are back online, and early at that. It’s the best long maintenance you’re ever going to see.

There’s no word on what the extra hour of maintenance is for, though Midnight servers are getting a small patch to nerf Guardian Druids after a group of five bears timed a Mythic +20 by themselves, and The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary realms are launching Phase 2 later this week, adding new raids and a whole lot of daily quests. But other than that, things are quiet on the Warcraft front this week.

Servers are back online, so hopefully I’ll see you in Azeroth soon!
