When does Diablo 4 Season 14 start? We’re estimating a the next season begins on June 30

Diablo 4 Season 13 kicked off with the launch of the Lord of Hatred expansion, and we the player base have been eating this content up. Skovos is so incredibly beautiful, the expansion story is powerful, and the new systems have players jazzed to be in the game again. But all things change, so as the seasonal cycle rolls forward we ask our age-old question — when does D4 Season 13 end, and Season 14 begin? We estimate Diablo 4 Season 13 will end June 30, 2026, rolling over to Season 14 within a few hours.

Diablo 4’s seasons are easy to track — the next season starts the day the current season ends. You can always check the remaining days in the season on the Reliquary screen in-game — every item available for purchase with favor tokens has a countdown of the remaining time the item is available for purchase during the season that is roughly accurate (within a few days). And yes, this includes the special crossover Reliquaries, like Season 13’s Diablo x World of Warcraft, so you don’t have to worry about those rewards disappearing early.

The June 30 date also means that Season 13 will be a short one — just two months — like Season 12, but it has an expanded suite of Season’s Journey-like objectives in the new Season Rank system. We’ve gone from seven Season Ranks to earn every season to nine in Season 13. Each rank past four requires completing even greater challenges within the expanded Torment levels, granting more opportunities for prime Horadric Cube crafting materials and even additional Resplendent Sparks to craft your own Mythic Unique. Even though Season 13 is on the short side, there’s a lot to get done.

But what about Season 14? We don’t know anything about the upcoming season, but we will soon: the developers are hosting another Sanctuary Sitdown developer Q&A on May 28 at 1pm pacific (4pm eastern) in the Sanctuary Discord. The developers will be discussing the patch 3.1 PTR, which will include Season 14 content and updates, so we expect more information on it next week, with a PTR launching on June 2 if the team follows its typical announcement schedule. Season 13 didn’t have PTR, likely since the current season is more of a reward mechanism and has no theme, but Season 14 will be on the PTR relatively soon. (We’ll update this post when we know more.)

Season 13 and the Lord of Hatred expansion introduced us to the shores of Skovos, the big battles against Mephisto, and the Warlock class. It’s been an absolute romp for all of us to long-time Diablo fans to dive into the gaming experiences the expansion delivered. So keep trucking along your battles through Helltides, the Pit, and of course, the Season’s Journey Rank objectives, because Season 13 ends on June 30(-ish).
