It’s a speedy maintenance day for most World of Warcraft realms, with extended downtime for Mists of Pandaria Classic
Most World of Warcraft players have a light Tuesday maintenance ahead of them, with just an hour of downtime for Midnight, Classic, and The Burning Crusade servers. However, with phase 5 rolling out for Mists of Pandaria Classic, it’s expected to be offline most of the day.
Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for Tuesday, June 2:
- Midnight: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
- Mists of Pandaria Classic: Offline from 7am – 3pm pacific (10am – 6pm eastern)
- WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
- The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary realms: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
All World of Warcraft servers are currently offline.
Mists of Pandaria servers are the only ones with anything going on this week with the launch of phase 5, which includes Siege of Orgrimmar and the Timeless Isle. (Hopefully neither will last as long as their original iterations, which were the only new content in World of Warcraft for 18 months.) While the new phase includes Siege of Orgrimmar, the raid doesn’t open for a couple of days, launching on June 4. Here’s a full rundown of everything in Mists of Pandaria Classic phase 5, so you’re ready to go when the servers come back online at 3pm pacific (6pm eastern). Settle in for a long wait.
But for all other World of Warcraft players, servers should be back online quickly. If you’re lucky, you might not even notice it.
I’ll keep you up to date on the state of today’s WoW maintenance right here, so stay tuned to see if servers come back online early or if this short maintenance goes long. Hopefully I’ll see you in Azeroth soon.
