Diablo 4 Season 14 starts next week, so hurry up to finish your Season 13 goals!

Diablo 4 Season 13 kicked off with the launch of the Lord of Hatred expansion in April, and we the player base have been eating this content up. Skovos is so incredibly beautiful, the expansion story is powerful, and the new systems have players jazzed to be in the game again. But all things change, so as the seasonal cycle rolls forward we ask our age-old question — when does Diablo 4 Season 13 end, and Season 14 begin? Diablo 4 Season 13 will end June 30, 2026 at 11am pacific (2pm eastern), and Diablo 4 Season 14 will begin shortly afterwards.

Diablo 4 patch 3.1.0 will be available to pre-load before Season 14 launches, so you’ll be ready to play as soon as the servers are available. You can pre-download patch 3.1.0 on June 25 at 10am pacific (1pm eastern) for Battle.net, Xbox, and PlayStation. You should be able to just fire up your game client to start the download.

Season 14 is the Season of Death Awakening, and it will take us back to Pandemonium, as Pandemonium Rifts open around Sanctuary, letting in gravehounds, reapers, and realmwalkers. We’ll travel to Pandemonium to visit the Deathtoll Chamber, a single-room dungeon packed with rewards, and fight the Corrupted Reaper seasonal boss at Pandemonium Threshold. Seasonal players will be tasked with hunting down a Death Cult in Zarbinzet, which seeks to bring death back to our world, which will set us hunting for (and closing) Pandemonium Rifts, though we don’t yet know how deep the story will go.

The season also features a revamped Unique system that allows you to customize Uniques, as well as significant changes to Mythics which will allow any Uniques to roll Mythic quality with max stats and a 30% bonus to its Unique power. (You can also craft Mythic Uniques in the Horadric Cube using the seasonal currency Pandemonium Fragments, but you can only equip a single crafted Mythic Unique.) After Lord of Hatred changed Uniques to have randomized stats, finding the right Unique for your build became a new kind of challenge. In patch 3.1.0, Uniques will have two fixed stats that compliment their playstyle, and can have one affix rerolled at the Occultist, so Uniques have a bit more predictability and customization.

There are also a couple of significant new systems in patch 3.1.0, with The Tower leaderboards finally coming out of beta (including new rewards) and a Solo Self Found mode for seasonal play for players who want more of a challenge.

And of course Season 14 will add the usual rewards, with a new set of Reliquaries and an Overwatch collab with new skins to buy in the shop as well as a free Overwatch reliquary that includes an Overwatch-themed dye that seems to only be available in the Reliquary. It’s the first time we’ve seen dyes available as reward of this kind.

Season 13 has been a short one, running for just two months, so we haven’t had a ton of time to get through the Season Rank system or finish up Reliquaries — and now there’s only a week remaining before Season 13 ends and Season 14 begins. So keep trucking along your battles through Helltides, the Pit, and of course, the Season’s Journey Rank objectives, because Season 13 ends on June 30.

See you in Sanctuary!
