Pathfinder, Starfinder, and Paizo’s full catalog of books are now available on DriveThruRPG

When exploring the tabletop RPG space beyond D&D, a lot of people’s first steps will be Paizo‘s incredibly popular Pathfinder and Starfinder games, which feel familiar while giving players and GMs a lot of new options. We’re obviously big fans here, having played both games on the Tavern Watch Podcast. Until now, however, digital access to Paizo products has been more limited compared to D&D, which chucked its entire historical back catalog of digital products onto DriveThruRPG years ago. You could get third-party Paizo products online on DriveThruRPG, but Paizo’s first-party products weren’t as easily available. But luckily for Paizo fans who want the affordability and accessibility of digital products on the internet’s most ubiquitous tabletop game storefront — including products that can be hard to find because they’re out of print! — Paizo is bringing its back catalog (all of it) to DriveThruRPG.

You can now find over 1,200 Paizo products across the Starfinder and Pathfinder product lines (both 1st and 2nd editions of each) are now available on DriveThruRPG. What’s more, in the near future, DriveThruRPG will be offering print options for Paizo’s books as well as offering connections to Paizo’s own store. That’s over twenty years of Pathfinder and Starfinder content for you to dive into; no wonder DriveThruRPG’s founder Steve Wieck compared Paizo fully releasing their books on DriveThruRPG to “getting Spotify to offer The Beatles.”

Pathfinder‘s compatibility between editions and product lines makes this a great opportunity for GMs of those systems who want to draw inspiration from anywhere in Golarion’s rich history as a game world; it’s easy to run first edition content in second edition, as Matt Rossi did for the classic “Rise of the Runelords” adventure path for us, so there’s no better time than now to really delve into the back content of one of the major non-Wizards of the Coast players in the tabletop space and see what they have to offer.
