There’s a lot going on in World of Warcraft what with a new-ish patch and all, but have you ever wanted… more? I’m talking bonus Trader’s Tender, experience and reputation buffs for alts that might be languishing below level cap or not making friends effectively, and random bags of consumable goodies to spice up the grind? Well, have I got some great news for you: the Winds of Mysterious Fortune event is unexpectedly back like a pleasant autumn breeze, and for the next few weeks you can get all of that good stuff!

Now, if you’re a Trading Post aficionado, you’re probably most concerned with how you get your mitts on those sweet, sweet free 500 Trader’s Tender to spend on looking like a garden gnome or something. The good news is, it couldn’t be easier: you just have to log in five times on different days between September 8th and September 22nd. Doing so will grant you progress on the Winds of Particularly Mysterious Fortune feat of strength, which rewards the tenders once you earn it.

The Winds of Mysterious Fortune event also always heralds a reputation buff to go with its experience gains, and this time it’s a 50% buff worldwide with the exception of Zul’jarra’s Forces and Captain Tokka, so you can catch up on those as well. My suggestion: if you’ve got any Battle for Azeroth or Legion reputations that are just about maxed on any character, go ahead and knock those out — they’ll be account-wide in 12.1.5, after all, so your whole Warband can reap the rewards!
