It’s another quick maintenance Tuesday for World of Warcraft

This week’s World of Warcraft maintenance is an exact match to last week’s maintenance: all WoW Classic servers are scheduled to be offline for one hour, while Midnight servers are scheduled to be offline for two hours. That’s not a bad maintenance day (as long as it sticks to schedule).

Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for Tuesday, September 15:

• Midnight: Offline from 7am – 9am pacific (10am – 12pm eastern)
• Mists of Pandaria Classic: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
• WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
• The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary realms: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)

All World of Warcraft servers are currently offline.

It’s been a busy week for Blizzard Entertainment, with BlizzCon wrapping up on Sunday. We’ve rounded up all of the news from the convention, but there’s nothing that’s immediately relevant to modern or classic WoW. During today’s maintenance, there will be some raid tuning for the Venomous Abyss in Midnight rolling out, but no plans or patches have been announced for any Classic servers.

Though we have heard quite a bit about Midnight patch 12.1.5, patch 12.1.7, and patch 12.2 now, but none of it’s coming soon, and there’s no news on what’s coming next to current Classic realms. World of Warcraft: Forever is the new hotness, the official version of the rumored Classic+, offering Classic gameplay with modern updates and brand new (old) content that takes us back to what vanilla WoW might have been. Forever beta launches this Thursday and the game’s full release is on November 4, so even without any immediate new content for modern or classic, there will still be new WoW to play this week.

But for now, there’s nothing to do but wait out today’s maintenance. Classic realms should be up in an eye blink, and Midnight realms shouldn’t take much longer. I’ll keep you updated right here on current WoW server status, and let you know when the servers are back online.
