So now that I have my sunglasses on, let’s get to some questions. This is the Queue.

Tuesday maintenance was a long one for modern World of Warcraft placers, but servers came back up about an hour early with WoW patch 11.1.5 launching relatively smoothly.

This week we're bringing you another game Pigeon's 11, in which our feathered cast of criminals dives into the world of esports and culinary delights at MetzlCon.

It’s Wednesday afternoon and the Queue is not late, I meant to post it right now. This exact moment! The moment of arriving!

That’s a roundabout way of saying we’re planning to push the Queue back an hour permanently, scheduling it at 11am pacific/12pm mountain/1pm central (site time)/2pm eastern. (I have to write it out like that to try to stick the change in my own head.) It’s about standardizing post scheduling every day and keeping posts spread out throughout the day rather than clumped together (which tended to happen on podcast days when the podcast went live a half hour before the Queue). We’ll see how it goes.

The original Guild Wars launched in April 2005, so the game turns 20 years old this month, joining a venerable club of classic MMOs including EverQuest (1999 and yes, it's still going), EverQuest 2 (2004), and World of Warcraft (2004).

Today's WoW maintenance is a short one, with just one hour of downtime for modern and classic WoW servers.

This week we're playing Pigeon's 11, an adventure where our fine flock of felonious fowl are getting ready for the heist of a lifetime.

Good afternoon, Queue! I will be your host today, and am going to be making a permanent swap to doing the Queue on Wednesday because I keep getting really busy on Thursday/Friday which has occasionally resulted in late Queues. (Definitely not just because I’m staying up to watch Critical Role, I am legitimately very busy at the end of the week, definitely.)

World of Warcraft has maintained a solid content cadence ever since the start of Dragonflight and the 2025 schedule for The War Within suggests the pace isn't slowing down soon.
