This week's maintenance is scheduled to last all day for Midnight realms as Blizzard rolls out WoW patch 12.0.1, which includes many class updates and additional UI improvements — primarily things we've already seen testing on the beta, just rolling to live a little before the Midnight launch.

It's Monday, so it's time to try to catch up on the last week in Blizzard games.

I am not a fan of gaming showcases and events. They’re usually heavy on hype and light on things to actually be hyped about. Last week’s Warcraft showcase actually went pretty well, with a lot of info to share and some exciting reveals. But today’s Overwatch showcase? Well, since my expectations were on the floor, it managed to exceed them, but I’m not exactly overwhelmed, despite a new cinematic trailer … something we haven’t seen since… well, I started scrolling to find one and eventually gave up. It’s been a while.

Maybe Overwatch can stage a comeback. Maybe.

But while we wait for that to happen, this is the Queue, our daily Q&A column. Let’s get to your questions.

It's Tuesday morning, and that means it's time for World of Warcraft maintenance.

Last week was a busy one for Warcraft fans as the State of Azeroth showcase dumped three roadmaps (and more) on our heads.

I never exactly planned to put a Dark Portal in my front yard, but now that I know I’ll be able to get one, of course I am going to put a Dark Portal in my front yard. There’s no greater status symbol than to show off to your neighbors that you have your own Dark Portal.

But then, of course, when all of my neighbors have a Dark Portal it’s not going to be cool anymore and I’ll have to find something else. But for this little slice of time, I will cherish this Dark Portal of my very own.

It's a relatively short Tuesday morning maintenance for all versions of World of Warcraft with a brief one-hour maintenance for WoW Classic and Mists of Pandaria Classic, and a two hour maintenance for Midnight.

It's been a crazy week with the Midnight pre-patch rolling out, and then having to figure out brand new builds, and set up our UIs from scratch (with double the addons), and (worst of all) set up new transmogs for every single character.

Welcome to this post-patch Wednesday. Is it not glorious? A fresh beautiful day with new content before us…

… and LUA errors… and missing addons… and missing talents, missing transmog, crashes, extra downtime, and…

Okay, maybe it’s just an average Monday morning that moved to a Wednesday. But we have to make the best of what we have.
