The quick holiday maintenance for WoW today has already concluded
The Queue: Don’t press this button (press this button)
A game can’t put buttons in front of us and expect us not to press them. Buttons are there for the pressing, and the bigger and redder they are, the more tempting they are to tap. If you don’t want us to press a button, have you considered not having a button? I think that’s a surefire method.
With that out of the way, let’s get to the Queue.
After a nice long WoW maintenance today — the servers are UP for patch 11.0.7 launch
The War Within patch 11.0.7 takes us to Siren Isle (which reminds us an awful lot of the Forbidden Reach)
Blizzard Watch Weekly: A gaming extravaganza
The Queue: Sleeping off The Game Awards
Does Geoff Keighley not realize gamers are getting older? That we have bedtimes? Limited attention spans? Four hours of game trailers is just too much. By the end I had forgotten the beginning, the middle was a blur, and I was starting to doze off so I’m not completely sure how it ended. Hopefully someone won!
But I’m being too harsh. The whole show was worth watching just to see Statler and Waldorf call Geoff a sellout. The Outer Worlds 2 trailer was also extremely good, and possibly some other things happened.
But for now, let’s get to the Queue.
Warcraft Rumble is now available on PC — here’s how to download the beta client
Extended Tuesday maintenance has ended for WoW, with The War Within, Cataclysm Classic, Classic Era, and Anniversary realms all back online
The Queue: In which I am not forgetting to write the Queue
Because I would never do that. Truly. I would not leave you all to your own devices on a Friday afternoon (it would be dangerous, for one). We need excitement! We need adventure! We need questions!
So let’s get to it.
The Queue: It is not Thursday
Not anymore. I have vanquished Thursday and arrived with Friday, as we all wait for the weekend to come. (Or dread the holiday shopping to come.)
In the meanwhile, let’s Queue.
