I'm trying not to curse today's maintenance, but I have to call it like I see it: an hour-long Tuesday maintenance for all WoW servers is a quick maintenance.

This week we continue our adventure of Daggerheart, as our crew walks away from the settlement surrounding the Motherboard and into a not entirely unexpected ambush.

While Blizzard's posts about Player Housing remain purposefully vague — the feature is still in active development and details may change — the latest update offers a juicy look at how players will create neighborhoods and the Endeavors (events) that happen there.

WoW patch 11.2 arrives on August 5, sending us off to the ruined world of K'aresh — which we just got a fresh lore dump on in a new short story about Locus-Walker — and eventually into Manaforge Omega to confront Dimensius.

I don’t think they would let mounts stabled at the Trading Post eat customers, but I am wondering about this fel boar, who is ten times my size and has very hungry eyes. Fel isn’t usually my aesthetic, but you know, maybe this boar and I could be friends. Or enemies. Frenemies? Well, we’ll talk about the moral quandary of our mount collection in a minute. Have I cursed us by suggesting we'll have a short maintenance?

This week we're playing a game of Daggerheart, largely because I was enchanted by the Motherboard setting in the book — a funny turn of phrase, since the setting has no magic!

Modern WoW was suffering from an unusually high number of crashes and disconnects Thursday night, and even though BlizzardCS reported the issue was resolved I wonder if the problem led to today's extra maintenance.

You know, I’m kind of excited to explore pandaland again and for the first time in WoW Classic. But more than that, I want the glowy star-serpent mount you can get by leveling a Pandaren. So let’s do this Queue so I can alt-tab to finish leveling for the promise of sweet loot, the siren song of many a gamer.
