It's a big week for World of Warcraft maintenance as the Midnight pre-patch finally hits live realms.

The Burning Crusade Classic anniversary pre-patch is now live and players have until February 5 when the expansion launches to ready themselves for Outland.

World of Warcraft Classic Anniversary realms have officially become The Burning Crusade Classic anniversary realms with the successful rollout of the TBC Classic pre-patch on January 13, 2026 and players have already  begun preparations to traverse the Dark Portal on February 5, 2026 when the expansion launches.

Today's maintenance is completely average for players on The War Within and Mists of Pandaria Classic servers, with just a quick hour of downtime scheduled for both.

WoW Classic anniversary realms can now look forward to the The Burning Crusade Classic pre-patch officially launching on January 13, 2026 at 3 pm pacific time.

World of Warcraft Classic anniversary realms will take the first step to becoming The Burning Crusade Classic anniversary realms when the TBC Classic pre-patch rolls out on January 13, 2026 and players will have about 3 weeks to prepare themselves before the actual TBC Classic expansion to launches on February 5, 2026!

It's another speedy WoW maintenance this week, as all World of Warcraft servers scheduled to be offline for an hour this morning.

This week's World of Warcraft maintenance should be another short one, because no one wants to put in too many hours of work on a holiday week (not even the poor admins in charge of rebooting the realms just before New Year's).
