The Queue: The dress is a lie

Guys, I seriously have zero idea what’s going on with this dress thing or why you keep asking me on twitter (@matthewwrossi if you’re curious) about what color it is. I play a warrior. I don’t wear dresses. As far as I’m concerned, they’re all a trick of GlaDOS.

My friends who’ve already gotten the camera tell me it goes in your SS folder.

I’m noticing a lot more crashes when I run legacy content and pull bosses, and more crashes in LFR, but not the specific problem you mentioned.

Cop-Out Answer – I like each one for the game it’s designed for, really. HoTS models work well to communicate ‘Blizzard-ness’ as it were, a sense of visual cues that say this is a Blizzard game  using characters from all the other Blizzard games. Diablo III’s models work extremely well for the visceral, sometimes gory and disturbing, elaborate and over the top world of Sanctuary, and WoW‘s models have stood the test of time, and the revamp has only improved them.

Actual Answer – Diablo III.

Skada because it’s what I’ve used for years now, I understand it and how to read it, and I like how it functions and that it’s much less of a resource hog than Recount. It also seems more accurate overall, at least it usually has for me. I haven’t tried Details yet, however.

If he wasn’t attempting to use the word baby, then he didn’t spell it incorrectly. It would be like saying he spelled the word ‘camel’ incorrectly if he used the word ‘dromedary’. If his intention was never to spell or use the word baby in the first place, but to rather use the internet slang word ‘babby’ then it is not a misspelling.

Of course, I find ‘babby’ revolting, but if we’re going to get picky, let’s get picky.

I admit to finding the nemesis quests very very annoying.

I love that Leeroy is wearing the Devout Mantle so much, I can’t even tell you. I don’t want him to run into the mine, though. I want him to run into the town hall and find all those whelps. And I want those whelps to stay in the town hall and hang out with me and be my friends, so that when people visit my garrison I can say “Hey, look, many whelps! Handle it!”

Short answer – they’re evil

More complicated answer – no, that’s pretty much it. They want to kill everyone and take over everything and they’re not subtle about it. They’re attacking Quel’Danil for the same reason they’re attacking Gilneas, pushing into Arathi and hit Southshore with plague weapons – because they want to rule all of the Eastern Kingdoms. Remember, the Hinterlands was last updated in Cataclysm, so that’s the era of that questline.
