World of Warcraft patch 6.2 arriving June 23

Start your countdown clocks! Though we already suspected it, now we have confirmation that patch 6.2 will be hitting the live servers next Tuesday, June 23. With it we’ll get the new Hellfire Citadel raid, classic dungeons through Timewalking, the new Tanaan Jungle zone, garrison shipyards, and, of course, the first steps towards flying in Draenor.

We don’t have an official word on how long the servers will be down on Tuesday, but we’d expect a long maintenance for a patch of this size — and with the likely number of people rushing to Tanaan when the realms do come up, likely some server instability later in the evening. Our advice?
