New and updated items sets in Diablo 3 patch 2.3.0

Maybe you’re not excited by the new lore, the new artisan, or the revamped systems in the upcoming Diablo 3 patch 2.3.0 — you’re all about the loot! The Diablo 3 team just showed off the new and updated gear sets coming in patch 2.3.0, as well as a hint of seasonal items to come later that week in Season 4.

The video shows off not only the explosive power of the new and old sets but also some of the new monsters in the new zone Ruins of Sescheron. The new Monk set spreads Exploding Palm all around while the new Crusader and Witch Doctor sets let old abilities interact to start new skill builds. The revamped Wizard set makes Archon stronger than ever and the revamped Witch Doctor set shows off the reworked ability Wall of Death (formerly Wall of Zombies) with a Nazeebo-like ring of zombies.

The new legendary items for Season 4 buff abilities like Archon and Blessed Hammer that show up in the new and updated sets. While Witch Doctors might want the kitty mojo just for transmog, everyone will want to get their hands on the newest legendary gem, Bane of the Stricken, which not only increases your damage against all targets you hit, but also greatly increases damage against bosses and Rift Guardians when level to rank 25.
