Breakfast Topic: CSI Undercity

Okay, so here’s the thing — with all the new genre TV shows available from sources like Netflix, and the Warcraft movie about to hit theatres, and Activision-Blizzard starting their own studio, I find myself wondering…what kind of shows are they going to make?

For starters I’d freaking love an Overwatch animated series. This seems like the perfect match to me. But then I started thinking about other Blizzard properties and how to make shows out of them. CSI: Undercity was my first joke idea, but seriously, a noir thriller set in the Undercity? How do you police a place where everyone is already dead? How do you punish crime? What do you even consider a crime there? Aside from not obeying the Dark Lady, is anything really illegal as such in Undercity?

I’d also love a straight up weekly monster of the week Diablo series. And man, I could watch a StarCraft series of TV movies, covering big events in the game’s history.
