Breakfast Topic: It’s time to say another prayer to the RNG gods

Love Is in the Air has returned and with it another set of chances to get the Big Love Rocket. That means it’s time, once again, to make your little shrine to the RNG gods (perhaps adorned with dice, candles, and coffee beans) in hopes that they’ll favor you when you do your daily kill of Apothecary Hummel. And in the fall, you’ll probably be doing the same for The Headless Horseman.

It’s great to have rare things in the game because they offer a real sense of achievement when you finally get them — plus it’s super impressive when you break out your rarest gear, mounts, pets, and toys in a major city. (I know that I always pull out my Mini Tyrael for luck in particularly dire gaming circumstances.) But there’s also a major frustration element when another year comes and goes and you haven’t been lucky with the RNG.

So, everyone, just what are your worst RNG moments? Are you still trying for that Love Rocket mount this year — and, if so, how many attempts have you made at it so far? For my part, the Love Rocket seems like an impossible goal, but I’m still working on Rivendare’s Deathcharger and Attuman’s Warhorse… maybe some day they’ll be mine.
