Breakfast Topic: Your favorite part of the game

My favorite parts of World of Warcraft have always been the stories. The quest chains that are more than “get ten bear claws” (from bears who, for the most part, do not actually seem to have claws), the dungeons and raids that tell you more about the people and places in Azeroth (so long as your group isn’t speed running), the cutscenes full of story.

And that’s why my favorite part of Legion so far is the Artifact quests.

Artifact quests are a great just-for-your-spec dive into game lore. You’re hunting down ancient weapons of tremendous power and uncovering new secrets about Azeroth — and sometimes your class — along the way. Though for those looking for class flavor, some of these quests are bound to disappoint. For example, you could probably swap the Discipline Priest Artifact quest, which sends you into the Nexus vault, for a Mage quest without being able to tell the difference. But even these somewhat oddball Artifact quests give you a unique look into the game world that surrounds us.

The only downside, really, is that I want to do all of them. There’s so much story in these quest chains that it feels like I need a level 100 of each class to dive in and experience each one… a task I probably won’t get around to before Legion launches.

But what about you, readers? What’s your favorite part of World of Warcraft right now — and what are you most looking forward to in the game come Legion?
