Breakfast Topic: Playing live when Legion’s on the horizon

Legion’s still months away, but it’s already been sapping my interest in World of Warcraft. It’s not that I’m uninterested in Legion — it’s that there are so many changes coming to the game that playing right now feels kind of pointless.

Sure, I could finally figure out how to play my Rogue alt well enough to level it to 100, but I’ll just have to learn it all over again when Legion arrives. I know plenty of people who are leveling alts specifically to play them in Legion (or to collect garrison gold while they can) or farming for transmog from classic raids. But it’s been tough for me to garner enthusiasm for the same old grind when Legion will hit the reset button soon.

So tell me, readers, how’s your WoW enthusiasm doing? What have you been doing in game these days to get ready for Legion — or to kill time while it arrives?

And, no, I still have not gotten the Fiery Warhorse’s Reins. At this point I’m pretty sure they’re a myth.
