Nightborne face textures, class adjustments, and more in latest WoW hotfixes

A new set of WoW hotfixes has been released, just in time for Tuesday’s regularly scheduled maintenance. Included in today’s list are a few class adjustments — Beast Mastery Hunters and Fire Mages have received some buffs, while Affliction Warlocks have gotten a slight nerf. Note, however, that this is in PVE situations only. All three of these class and spec changes have these adjustments offset while in PVP situations, which is also detailed in the hotfix notes.

On top of the class changes, there have been some small fixes for players choosing to dive into the world of Allied Races. Nightborne players will be happy to note that all Nightborne faces should now properly match the textures chosen during Character Creation, or while in the Barber Shop. In addition, Void Elves and Nightborne that are delving into the Court of Stars should now be able to use the Magical Lantern in the dungeon.

Players currently working on Antorus, The Burning Throne may want to take note of the latest change to the Argus the Unmaker encounter. Sentence of Sargeras can no longer be prevented by immunities, although they’ll still mitigate the periodic damage. However, Sentence of Sargeras will only be targeting two players with each cast from here on out.

While some of these changes aren’t taking effect until each region’s realm maintenance is complete, it looks like this week’s maintenance is pretty short — so players shouldn’t have too long to wait. Read on for the full list of hotfixes below.
