Are you hopping into Noblegarden this year?

Noblegarden is in full swing, although there’s nothing new in the way of rewards. There is, however, transmog to consider. Originally I wasn’t going to bother participating, but the Elegant Dress in my inventory is the non-cosmetic version. If I want to transmog the outfit, I’m going to have to farm it again. I don’t really mind — I have plenty of things I can watch while I’m farming chocolates. Since I don’t have a lot to farm, I’m just going to quietly hunt down a good farming spot in the wee hours of the morning to nab my dress.

I do find myself wishing they’d do something new, however. The event has changed a lot since its first appearance in 2005. It got a complete overhaul in Wrath of the Lich King. But that’s the only major update we’ve seen. We’ve had new loot added, but the method to get that loot has stayed pretty much the same. Wouldn’t it be interesting to see an Evil Bunny or two while out on the hunt? It’d be a great nod to the Funny Bunny Egg Hunt from Warcraft 3, not to mention mildly terrifying.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the holiday as it stands, however. I think it’s just the passage of time that’s made it a little dull. The Wrath overhaul was all the way back in 2009 — maybe it’s time to switch things up a bit. What do you guys think? Are you hopping back into the Noblegarden fray?
