The Queue: Hey, you’re all cool people
Just always try and remember that, okay? You’re all cool people and you should be cool to each other. You deserve it and it’s worth repeating from time to time when things get harder. If you’re having a hard time, I hope it gets better soon. For all of us.
I can’t decide if I want playable Ogres or Vrykul more.
This is the Queue. Let’s talk Blizzard.
Q4tQ: Blizzard sure does like putting homages from WoW into their other games as cosmetic stuff, such as skins for Overwatch, and gear for Diablo 3. But I would love some transmog in WoW that resembled things from other Blizzard games, like one of Hanzo’s bows for Hunters, or one of the Barbarian sets for Warriors. What cosmetics would you like to see WoW get from other games?
Well, we already have the Hearthstone table in WoW, so not that. I’ll hit a few highlights here —
Overwatch — The Doomfist. Make it a fist weapon. Make it huge. And make it so Assassination Rogue abilities treat it as a dagger for purposes of using them.
Heroes of the Storm — either a Priest set that looked like Mecha-Tyrael or a Druid/Demon Hunter set that looked like Betrayer Malfurion.
Diablo — Solarion, the Spear of Valor, and an armor set that looks like Imperius to match it. Sure, he’s a total jerk, but he looks badass.
Rock n’ Roll Racing — the Peter Gunn theme.
The Lost Vikings already made an appearance in WoW all the way back in Uldaman, and I don’t think we’ll ever get Superman to show up. Yes, Blizzard developed a Superman game.
Q4tQ: for old time’s sake, should Blizz let warriors xmog Leather?
If it were up to me, I’d let people transmog a lot more freely than they do. Priests in plate, Warriors in cloth, whatever people wanted. I’d also let you turn off chest armor for the classic shirtless fantasy warrior look, if you wanted. So sure, I’d be cool with Warriors mogging leather, although man at the time I hated it when I had to wear leather for the stats.
Let Warlocks wear plate. Let Rogues wear cloth. If you like it you should be able to mog to it. I’m tired of trying to police people’s fun.
Should war resources (even just 1-2) come from killing mobs? Currently, i feel that i am barely staying ahead (although i am not madly chasing the WQs that offer them)
I don’t think we need War Resources to drop from mobs. Between World Quests and the Arathi quests, it’s not hard to come up with an easy 2k War Resources in a two week period, and that feels like more than enough to me. Admittedly, you’d have to chase those WQ’s to get that high, but to me that’s preferable to having to go farm mobs in Nazmir for them.
Q4tQ: is there some sort of hidden requirement to having the quest rewarding a 370 piece for your first Warfront of the cycle? My friend got to 120 last week and could get into Warfronts but he couldn’t see the quest.
Advancing the Campaign to a certain point? Contributing at least a little during that part of the cycle?
One possibility is that your friend went to Arathi and then didn’t take the quest Touring the Front, which has been known to keep people from seeing the next quest in the sequence. Check to see if that’s the problem if you possibly can. But I should tell you that one of my guildmates, who actually could see the quest but forgot to take it, later couldn’t and we never figured out why.
Q4tRossi: where is Joanna Blueheart? She needs to leave purgatory, and do something RIGHT NOW!
I know, right? She’s on my list of characters I’d like to see more of. I’d like to see her,
Is there any reason to do war-fronts if you already have a gear level above 340 beyond the biweekly 370 gear quest? Nothing else drops from them right?
Non-Azerite pieces can War/Titanforge, but otherwise no, the fact that you get a guaranteed gear drop and thus can collect a specific look is the real draw of the Warfronts.
Q4TQ: What Warrior weapon(s) would you use with the Dwarven Heritage Armor?
Ashkandi.
The answer was so obvious people emailed me to tell me I was going to say it. People DM’d me on Discord asking me if I was going to say Ashkandi to this question, and of course I did.
Okay, that’s the Queue for today, all. Thank you for coming by, and I hope you’re all well over the weekend. Take care of yourselves.
