How to get to Vale of Eternal Blossoms for N’Zoth Old God Assaults in patch 8.3

In patch 8.3 Azeroth is under attack by N’Zoth and you need to do your part to foil the Old God’s Assault on the world. So far, easy enough. There’s loot and Coalescing Visions on the line, for those of us who want to try out the Horrific Visions in patch 8.3. The catch is, you have to get to the places where N’Zoth is attacking, and to do that you have to know where they are. One of them is on Pandaria, no less — the Vale of Eternal Blossoms — and while both the Horde and the Alliance have home bases in those zones, they’re not exactly the easiest places to directly reach. Unlike with Uldum, there is no direct portal to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms for you to shortcut to.

However, there is a way to get to Pandaria fairly quickly. First stop, the portal room in either Stormwind or Orgrimmar.

In either faction capital, there’s a portal room rounding up various portals to the zones we tend to need to get to, and one of those portals goes to the Jade Forest. Once you get to the Jade Forest, however, you’ll have to make your way to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, which requires that you either hop on a flying mount (or a ground mount if that’s all you have) and head towards the Vale, or take a Kite to the zone from a flight master. If you’re Horde, you’re looking to go to the Shrine of Two Moons, while Alliance players will be trying to fly to the Shrine of Seven Stars.

That’s basically it. You could feasibly set your hearthstone to the Vale, if you want to be able to get there quickly — there is a solitary portal to either Orgrimmar or Stormwind upstairs in each faction’s respective shrines, so if you want to be able to get back to your capital city it’s relatively doable. I don’t know that I would recommend it, but it’s an option. But as of right now, that’s the fastest way to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms for the N’Zoth Assaults in patch 8.3.
