The Queue: Behind the times
I knew I hadn’t done a ton of PVP toward the end of BFA — but I didn’t realize I’d done so few that I’d completely missed the updated Deepwind Gorge map. It looks absolutely gorgeous, but I’m a little torn on it shifting to an Arathi Basin style BG. That’s not to say I loved the old style, though. I just kinda miss having a bit more variety in my BG types. (I also miss Strand of the Ancients, though, and I think that’s not a widely held opinion.)
Anyhow, enough about me not knowing things I should know. Let’s Queue.
Since I reached level 60 without entering Revendreth do I still need to go through the Revendreth zone story line before I can choose a Convenant?
If it’s your first character to hit 60, yes, you’ll have to finish the Revendreth storyline before choosing a Covenant. In future scenarios, you’re actually able to accept Threads of Fate at any point before 60, which means you can level to 59.9, activate it to “finish” the zones’ storylines, and then hit 60 off a World Quest or some such.
Apparently this was changed and you can just do it after hitting 60 now! Still needs to be an alt, though.
QftQ:: Who did you marry in Stardew Valley, and why wasn’t it Leah?
If I remember correctly, I went with Emily. I… I think I partially chose her because I disliked Clint and wanted to rub it in his face. Freakin’ Clint.
q4tq: How are you working around your professions now that we’re starting week 3 and raid release?
I’ve got a few friends that do nothing but speed run their professions and make ridiculous amounts of gold off the initial rush for legendary materials and potions for raids.
This is the first xpac that I’ve worked on my professions early and it’s definitely paying off now that my intellect potions are selling for 300-400g a piece!
Honestly, I’ve barely touched mine… and I have it easy (Herbalism/Mining). I used to go semi-hardcore right in the first few days of the expansion so I could make a profit off herbs and ore. And to some degree, I still do that — but this time around, getting to max level super quickly didn’t do a whole lot since getting to 60 in general took very little time at all. Honestly though, it was mostly because I was too lazy to really farm after I hit max level. I’m sure I could have made plenty more if I’d made more of an effort.
Three QftQ:
1) Supper or dinner?
2) Coke, pop, or soda?
3) What is your main December holiday supper going to be? Since it’s probably going to just be me, I’m thinking something like the following graphic, but with London broil and baked potatoes.
Dinner, soda (despite being from Michigan, where everyone says “pop”), and honestly, I have no idea. This is the first Christmas in maybe forever that I’m not going to be with my family, so I think my girlfriend and I will try to make ourselves a nice dinner. Likely a very large, multi-course one. However, we have yet to decide what exactly it will consist of, sooo… I have no idea!
Except for egg nog. I’m sure we’ll have egg nog.
Fire Emblem x WoW Q4tQ: Which covenant do you think Dimitri, Edelgard, and Claude would join?
Dimitri would absolutely be Kyrian. Claude is a bit of a toss-up. I honestly think he could fit in most Covenants. For the sake of this answer, I’ll say Night Fae, though. Baedelgard would be a good fit in Venthyr society, both in storyline/characteristics and general aesthetic.
2WQs Enter: Wheelbarrow Race vs SkiFree but on a Penguin
Sadly, I have not done the Wheelbarrow Race yet. But I will say, invoking SkiFree in any capacity is all it takes to win my nostalgia vote, so I’m gonna give it to the latter.
That’s all for today, y’all! Sorry if it’s a bit shorter than usual. Such is life here in Queuesville.
Anyhow, leave Qs for tomorrow’s writer, and have a great week!
