How would you feel if you could import your World of Warcraft characters into Hearthstone?

Hearthstone takes the greatest heroes of Azeroth and Draenor and turns them into cards, for a game that is supposed to be played at inns. All of the WoW heroes represented in another game, immortalized in their own time. Horde, Alliance, neutral, grouping side-by-side, as players choose among their favorites to make up their decks.

Mercenaries Mode focuses on specific people, to pick and chose which represent the best of the best. Those that go out into the world — of Warcraft — to make a difference. When I first unlocked Jaina, I was so excited — but she isn’t used in a lot of strategies, never appears in my deck. And then to unlock a specific piece of gear, I needed to have Balinda Stonehearth in a party. Who? Yes, she is in Alterac Valley, and yes, I understand she would be a bounty along the path. But why is she a fighter, alongside lore characters like Uther, Wrathion, and The Lich King?

It’s not like she defeated Deathwing! Which my Warrior, and his guild at the time, did. There was a whole cutscene where the dragon aspects confided in him. And at this point in WoW, our characters are The Maw Walker, the first person to set foot in the Shadowlands. They are extremely important, and should be represented in Hearthstone. And Hearthstone seems far enough along that cards could incorporate an avatar import from WoW. The games could communicate through Battle.net. If they had an expansion that focused on classes, and then had specific cards that were a class and race combo, I think they could do this, it is just cosmetic. And for Mercenaries, I would like to replace Rexxar with my Beastmaster Hunter, just for flavor.

However, I was also thinking about what I would like to do, besides just fire and holy combo. A general AOE combo would be nice. Bring in my Beastmaster Hunter, my Elemental Shaman, and my Fire Mage, with each of them doing more damage if a previous attack did damage to more than one character. Why limit it to one type of damage?

Would you like to bring your WoW characters into Hearthstone? Into normal play, Mercenaries, or should this be limited to a special Tavern Brawl? What would you like to see your characters do in Hearthstone?
