The Queue: Would you choose Kal-El over Geralt?

I’m going to miss Henry Cavill as Geralt, he was basically the glue that held the sometimes confusing Witcher series together. But I’m not even going to pretend I’m not pretty happy to get to see Cavill given a chance to play a less Zach Snyder-y version of Superman.

I really enjoyed getting to watch Tyrande ring Sylvanas’ bell in that cutscene, so I’d say at least do that questline. Honestly, watching Tyrande become Muscle Elf of Vengeance this expansion has kind of worked for me and it’s making it harder to switch mains.

All I can tell you is that yes, we know it’s a problem and we’re trying to get it fixed. No ETA on that, I just show up and talk a lot, I am not the one who deals with the important stuff.

I don’t know why Dwayne Johnson wants Superman to fight Black Adam so bad, it never goes well for Black Adam.

At the moment I’m not using any, but I’m sure I’ll pop some old classics like DBM or BigWigs at some point.

We had to delay the podcast due to me being really sick, so here it is in the Queue.

Honestly, I liked him in both roles, but I think he’s wanted to get a chance to bring Superman as he understands the character to life for a while. I don’t know the details about what’s going on with The Witcher series, but I’ve read that he’s been annoyed by the show straying from the content of the novels and games, and I know he had similar problems with the DCEU’s version of Superman.

Cavill is, in addition to being intimidatingly physically attractive, a hard etched nerd. He nearly didn’t even get the role of Superman because he was playing World of Warcraft and didn’t want to answer the phone. He paints a lot of Warhammer miniatures. He builds his own PC‘s. He named his dog Kal-El.

In short if they decided to make a human male designed to make me feel completely inadequate it would be Henry Cavill. I’m pretty sure he could school me in the lore of just about any major game franchise in existence. If tomorrow they said they were going to do another Warcraft movie and Henry Cavill was going to play Illidan, or Arthas, or Varian Wrynn, or heck even Jaina I’d believe he could do it.

In a perfect world he’d get to do both but if we can only have one, it might as well be Superman. He named his dog after the guy, I legitimately believe he cares about the character and wants to get a chance to do it right.

Speaking of doing it right, I’m just gonna say, adapting the Exile storyline would be a great way to let Cavill play the character in full. Plus he could rock a beard while playing him and even get to dress up in gladiator gear. Plus I’d love to see a cinematic take on Mongul, a true physical threat to Superman who isn’t Kryptonian just to broaden the cosmos out a bit.

Are you me? Because that exact scenario with the Gem of Ease has happened to me every single season for a while now.

I’d argue that the goal of playing Diablo 3 is to have fun exploding demons, and as long as that’s what you’re doing, you have absolutely not failed.

As for Barb builds, I do love the Wastes Rend build for the sheer viciousness and the explosive damage scaling. I also like the various Raekor Charge/Javelin Boulder Toss builds that can basically render you almost invulnerable for brief periods thanks to the Band of Might, the MotE build you mentioned (any build that makes it so you can hop and charge around the battlefield, really) as well as the maximum Seismic Slams MotE build, and the 90 Savages Frenzy build.

Okay, that’s the Queue for today. I should also note that the Superman and Lois TV show has really grown on me — I initially didn’t like it, but now I think it’s a pretty solid take on the character and I am looking forward to seeing it continue.
