The Queue: Boxing Day!

Is it a day for boxing? For putting things in boxes? For taking things out of boxes? For thinking outside of the box? Who knows anymore, I just know there’s good deals on things at stores and it’s actually not too cold here anymore.

While I only put on two extra layers to go outside, it’s time for — The Queue!

I’m 100% in favor of new mini-games. Anything that changes up the Warcraft formula is always a nice breath of fresh air. Even if it winds up being a little awkward to actually play. I’ll always give the developers credit for taking the chance and getting into the margins of what this engine was meant to do.

So a boxing mini-game yes! We could do a Real Steel-style thing where we help a Gnome/Goblin build the perfect Rok-em Sock-em robot to ascend up the ranks of a new battle bots Brawlers Guild thing. Especially if they get a Yaungol in to be an NPC and name it Hugh. Y’know for Hugh Yakman!

So let’s help these down-on-their-luck tinkers build a new bot and raise through the Robot Fighting League. Hopefully, we could come up with better gameplay than a vehicle-based rock/paper/scissors. Maybe have lots of little mini-games behind the scenes to make sure that your bot actually works properly. Sorting wires, figuring out which of your mechanics is actually working for the opponent, or becoming a saboteur yourself. It’s all good to me!

As long as I can give my boxing robot a Luchador mask.

So this is one of those opinions that doesn’t seem to be shared with the wider margin, but none. I don’t really feel the need to mog white/grey quality items. I have so many amazing options already and I feel like a Big Damn Hero™ wearing my tier sets and such that I’ve never looked at things like that and been angry that I can’t mog to them.

I’m happy that y’all are happy though.

I’d say just go out and explore as much of the world as you can. The quests and zones feel really fun and even if you only make it through a couple of areas you’ll probably have fun. Or you can do what Mitch did and level to 70 in the first few hours and just spend the rest of your time soaring around the Isles.

I don’t think there are wrong answers here, Dragonflight feels pretty great to me and I enjoyed my leveling time in it very much.

Yep! I always want the world to live and breathe alongside of us as we play. That can be tough, especially with the limited number of hours in the week.

Maybe if there was a team that was in charge of revamping an old zone with every major patch. Toss some new stories and assets into them, so that something would change in the old world with each new season. Just phase them so that you only see the new content at max level and they can still use their other versions for the leveling process.

Just my main. There are too many old presents and things to gunk up my bags in those presents! I have all of the pets and don’t use the other stuff, so I’m just in it for the new toys.

Maybe the upcoming holiday updates and refreshes will change my thoughts about that!

I hope that you all had a great Christmas if you celebrate, and a lovely Sunday if you don’t. Make sure to spread some extra holiday cheer Anna’s way by asking lots of questions. Unless it’s the mystery Queue writer tomorrow in which case continue to ask lots of questions but maybe don’t ask specifically about how Rutherford Bear Hayes is doing in Dragonflight.
