The Queue: It’s gonna be

It’s gonna be… something. Shoot.

It was just on the tip of my tongue! I know that April showers bring… something… Oh well, I’m sure it’ll come to me.

While I try and figure that out, it’s time for — The Queue!

ENO AND JæKSDæDI WERE GOOD, THEY WERE GOLD

Eno: Made and ate tacos and fries tonight. Be jealous, my fellow kinspeople.

Jæksdædi: Having access to what amounts to an infinite supply of chili dogs might not be the blessing I originally envisioned.

Well see, I was all set to be jealous of Eno’s tacos tonight, but then I saw Jæksdædi post about their infinite chili dog situation and honestly I’m a little torn.

An infinite amount of chili dogs does sound like the exact right amount of chili dogs for me right now, but how can I be sure that this isn’t a King Midas situation where everything I touch turns to chili dog?! At least I wouldn’t die of hunger, but how long could I survive on just chili dogs? Surely man was never meant to live in such overwhelming flavor! Well, except for Guy Fieri.

So I put it to you gentle readers, who should we be jealous of here? Eno with their homemade tacos or Jæksdædi and their suspicious access to infinite chili dogs?

I CAN BUY MYSELF MUSEDMOOSE

Q4tQ: who’s your main going to be in 10.1? Asking because there’s been a lot of class changes (especially if you’re a shadow priest) and I figured some people would have a new main.
Not me, though; my fire mage will be my main like she has since Cata (and not just because she’s my only 70). The mage buffs don’t hurt, though. :P

Bear!

They’re adding some fresh animations to the Werebear skin and I’m looking forward to seeing those in action. As for class changes, I know that I’m going to be in exactly the same place as I was in this patch, and I’m alright with that. Nobody will pick a Guardian Druid for anything cutting-edge because we simply don’t have the utility and survivability that other tanks bring to the table.

At this point, I feel like I’m locked in on Bear for good. I dig the vibes too much to change. I just wish that Blizzard would give us a tune-up to get us more in line with the other tanks. Some kind of button that helps save the group, lets us survive through a massive hit, or just do the most damage if we’re going to be the squishiest tank.

WRITE DRAKKENFYRE’S NAME IN THE SAND

Mythic Kil’jaeden can DIAF. That knock-back is ridiculous. And if you survive one, another purple orb can fly down faster than you can properly position yourself and you just get knocked off anyway. I looked up comments and saw people complaining about that. One person said he had three of them coming down at once and a fourth immediately afterwards. It sounds like the fight’s been bugged at some point prior/after DF’s launch and it can become literally impossible to do.

He seriously does need a solo-mode tweak that greatly reduces the knockback of those orbs. As long as it’s solo only then people who still want to get the full experience of one of the hardest end-bosses can still get that, and everyone else can get those shiny transmogs.

I didn’t see anyone in the comments to your post suggest a Demon Hunter though, and if you have access to one yourself — or can get a friend to bring one — I’d suggest it! The last time I ran him on Mythic on my Demon Hunter, which admittedly was a hot minute ago, I could just use double jump to change my momentum after each knockback and didn’t even have to worry about the mechanic. Maybe that still works!

It won’t help you if you’re after non-leather transmog, but if you just need the achievement for the kill then you’re set!

TALK TO BRAINSTRAIN FOR HOURS

Getting the Onyx Annulet fully upgraded has been… incredibly easy. Like, almost too easy. Will be 100% done with it once these work orders come through. I’ve been subbed for like 24 hours, lol.

Right?!?

I was extremely surprised when I got it all done in a single trip to the Forbidden Reach. No wonder it was forbidden — everything is too easy to get there!

It does make sense when you consider how long the content was supposed to last us, but I’m still a little shocked that Blizzard didn’t dole out stages of stone updates over the first few weeks.

SAY THINGS DRAKKENFYRE DON’T UNDERSTAND

When you finally get something you’ve wanted or tried getting for a long time for its appearance, do you hang onto the actual item as a trophy?
I ask because this morning the Sun Eater dropped for me. I’ve been wanting that since BC. I wasn’t hardcore farming for it, but every time I did decide to pop up there, it didn’t drop. This morning I decide to try again, took a break between healing TW, and went up there with the Monk. Put it in Heroic, and it dropped on the first run.
It’s staying in her bank forever. I’ve several trophy drops like that, sometimes on classes that couldn’t even use them when I was farming for something else, but they still went into the bank.
Do you hang on or chuck ’em?

Oh, I hang on to the really rare stuff. I also hang onto a lot of the things that wind up going away after the patch content. I have some of the Legendary Upgrade items from Legion, and I know some of the Corruption things from the end of Battle for Azeroth. I also keep any duplicates of rare mounts that I get. So far I have a second Headless Horseman and a second Firebird from Ragnaros. I also have a second brain jellyfish from that Legion secret where you needed five people to complete the puzzle.

That was a good secret.

We need another one like that, or maybe there’s already one like that and we haven’t found it yet! The truth is out there…

YEAH, I CAN LOVE ME BETTER THAN ENO CAN

What games you enjoyin’ outside of WoW these days, Cory?

Lately, my other gaming time has been split between two things: Fall Guys and Forspoken.

I came pretty late to Fall Guys but it’s turned into a great game to spend anywhere from 10-20 minutes laughing at the antics on screen. It doesn’t have couch co-op but passing the controller back and forth between my lady and I has been a great way to spend some time. We even managed to complete the current battle pass, now we’re just waiting for the next season announcement sometime this week. I hope that it gets some Blizzard tie-ins. If they can squeeze the characters from Encanto, Spongebob Squarepants, Invincible, and ALIEN into the game, why not Lilith?

Honestly, if I was in marketing right now for any sort of media, I would be pitching a Fall Guys tie-in because they’re just so cute!

Forspoken is the other one, and I’m stuck clearing out all the big stuff in each zone like I always do when playing open-world games. I keep saying, maybe I don’t need to do everything, but then I see that one more cat monument is hidden somewhere nearby and like… I can’t not go pet another cat, right? That’d make me some kind of monster. I do make sure to pet Bacardi at the same time though, I wouldn’t want him to get jealous of the virtual cats. I’m sure that I’m 2/3rds or more through the story and could probably finish it soon if I stopped getting sidetracked, but what are the odds of that?!

I think there’s still another Vault on Tuesday… So here’s some sleepy end-of-season luck for you! Who knows if you need it, but I hope that you at least get something shiny you can use for transmog out of your vault, or at least something that can really help you make a good start into the Embers of Neltharion content.

Today’s Anna Earworm™: Flowers

I figured it out! It’s gonna be Star Wars Day in three days! Wait, no… that still doesn’t sound right… huh. Oh well, it’s a mystery I guess! Don’t forget to leave lots of questions for Anna tomorrow!
