The Queue: Yoink!

Oh to be a small fox stealing a sausage off of a plate in a tavern. That truly is the dream.

While I wistfully imagine a simpler life, it’s time for — The Queue!

I think this one is for the memes mostly. It’s a title that you get early enough and easy enough that most players can have it — which is the first count for it. Then you gotta imagine how funny it’d be to watch Lillith be stopped by Hot Trash the Necromancer or Smelly Trash the Druid.

There is a certain amount of self-deprecation there too. A lot of people don’t want to think of themselves as the type to go really hard on a game, or that they aren’t that good so Trash fits.

I think there are funnier combos out there though so I’ll be glad once people get over their Trash obsessions so we can see more Bear-related things.

I don’t have much to add here other than I’m in favor of this. You’d probably have to make the nodes a different color or shape depending on what they are, I don’t think that with the speeds we can achieve with Dragonriding that we’d be able to read the names fast enough.

I can’t count the number of times that I wish my fish node was better labeled though. Especially with the really rare treasure pools out there. I wonder how many of those I’ve flown over without even realizing it…

I just re-upped my Netflix while I was sick and watched so many things:

• Two seasons of Love Death and Robots — some good ones but most not as good as the first season’s standouts
• The 4th season of Disenchantment — is fine but still not as funny as Futurama
• New Witcher— too much political nonsense, not enough monster. I like Geralt still but they really need to focus the storytelling a bit more I think so that we’re not checking in with the whole picture every episode.
• New Black Mirror — I liked the Aaron Paul and Salma Hayak ones the most. The small English town one was fine, I don’t know if I really dug the paparazzi and shoe salesgirl episodes
• New I think you should leave — I think I only really like it to know when other people are referencing it, I usually find the references to it funnier than the bits themselves
• Second season of Inside Job — Netflix are fools to have canceled this.
• Wednesday — This is a real 40% of my brain kinda show, but Jenny Ortega is fun. Luis and Catherine Zeta are both well cast as Gomez and Morticia too.
• Canadian Netflix does have the first two seasons of Harley Quinn!! Which would be great — if I hadn’t seen them already!!! Where’s my third season and V-day special!!?
• New D&D movie — fun! There had better be a sequel!

Up next I’ve got Sandman, Stranger Things 4, and Cabinet of Curiosities to watch.

I would love some Heroes of the Storm like woah. It was easily my favorite game of their recent offerings.

I’m not holding my breath though.

I’d be even more surprised though if we saw a fresh new StarCraft property. An RTS is pretty far away from being likely I think, simply because most of their RTS people have moved over to Frostgiant Games. But we could see something from the universe still! Where’s our first-person Marine game, or third-person stealth infiltration game, or third-person hacky-slashy from the perspective of a Zealot!

There are choices!

1. These Boots are Made for Walking or maybe I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) — Both of these should be pretty self-explanatory.
2. Bat Outta Hell — I just wanna be moving fast!
3. Paradise by the Dashboard Light — This is as close to our song as we have.
4. I Write Sins Not Tragedies — This is a nice fast-paced song and at that point, I really think that sometimes we all need to hurry up. I’m also really hoping that the bathroom trip doesn’t end in a tragedy.

This is the face of a cat who is too hot. We haven’t had nearly enough rain to keep things cool around here and oh boy is he unimpressed about that. Hopefully, the loot in your vaults is equally as hot!
