When does Diablo 3 Season 30 end?
Watchers, welcome to Diablo 3 Season 30: Lords of Hell. This season’s patch brought the permanent return of both the Altar of Rites and Visions of Enmity to the game, in addition to our first repeating theme: the Lords of Hell, which debuted in Season 25. But while the Altar and Visions will remain in perpetuity, the Lords of Hell and their powerful soul shards will leave at some point, which begs the question — when does Diablo 3 Season 30 end?
We now know that Diablo 3 Season 30 ends on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 5pm pacific, with Season 31 starting the following week.
Want to know more about Diablo 3 Season 30? We have a guide to everything you need to know about the Season so you can finish your seasonal goals before it ends!
The Diablo team provided details on future Seasons in its Season 29 preview post. Past Diablo 3 Season lengths have varied widely: Season 28 is the record holder for the longest run at 28 weeks and two days (about seven months), while Season 2’s two-month runtime seems like a blip. Now, in addition to recycling D3 seasonal themes, the seasons will rotate about every three months.
That rotation began with Season 30, which started on Friday, January 12, a 12-week (and two-day) runtime put us right at April 7, so the game is sticking right to that three-month runtime. (Yes, three months could also mean 13 weeks; however, using a little over 12 weeks fits in roughly four seasons a year and better aligns with the Diablo 4 release schedule.)
We’ll see if Diablo 3 continues to stick with this quarterly rotation, but for now Season 30 is winding down, and you only have a few more days to finish any seasonal goals. — so get to it. You have until Sunday, April 7 to complete anything you have left in Season 30.
See you in Sanctuary!
