How to earn Wild Offerings to get a new Rune and high-level gear in WoW Classic Season of Discovery Phase 3
World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery Phase 3 has added a new currency, Wild Offerings, that players can use at a new vendor in Felwood, the Shadowtooth Emissary, to purchase high level near-raid quality items and Darkmoon cards. But these items can be tricky to get: Wild Offerings are tied to a special horn item you get during the Wild Gods questline and to complete it, you’ll need to be part of a group (and have few hours of time to commit). While certain parts of the quest only require one person to have or use a certain item, it’s in your best interest to complete the questline because you’ll earn a rune for your class and so you can earn more Wild Offerings at your own pace in the future.
Here’s how you get started collecting Wild Offerings in Season of Discovery.
How to complete The Wild Gods questline
- Go to the Shadowtooth Emissary NPC at the Emerald Sanctury in the southern part Felwood.
- Accept quest The Wild Gods that tasks you with acquiring a Wildwhisper Draught from elite Vilebranch Troll enemies at Jintha’alor in The Hinterlands. After you do, go to the Razorfen Downs dungeon in the southen Barrens and clear it. After you defeat Amnennar the Coldbringer at the top of the Spiral of Thorns, use the Wildwhisper Draught to summon the Spirit of Agamaggan.
- Only one person in your group needs to have the Draught so if someone already has it, you can go to the next step.
- Turn in part 1 of the The Wild Gods quest and Agamaggan will reward you with the Agamaggan’s Roar horn item.
- Accept part 2 of The Wild Gods quest which tells you to use Agamaggan’s Roar to summon a Delirious Ancient, a special elite enemy located in three dungeons: Maraudon in Desolace, Zul’Farrak in Tanaris, and Blackrock Depths in Blackrock Mountain. To summon a Delirious Ancient, you need to defeat three bosses within one of these dungeons, after which you’ll receive a notification in your text box “You feel a shadowed presence” indicating the Delirious Ancient has spawned in a specific part of the dungeon:
- In Maraudon, the Delirious Ancient (Raptor) spawns in the pools with the turtles close to Princess Theradras.
- In Zul’Farrak, the Delirious Ancient (Spider) is located around the pool in Ghaz’rilla‘s area.
- In Blackrock Depths, the Delirious Ancient (Basilisk) is near the Dark Iron Highway.
- Once you find the Ancient, use Agamaggan’s Roar to fight it. Defeating one of these Delirious Ancient’s rewards you with one Wild Offering and you need to collect three in total. You don’t need to complete all three dungeons to do the quest: you can instead choose one to run three times if you desire.
- Return to the Shadowtooth Emissary and turn in your three Wild Offerings to finish The Wild Gods part 2 and get the Hyjal’s Wisdom buff which teaches you one rune based on your class:
- Druid (Bracers) — Improved Frenzied Regeneration
- Hunter (Helm) — Lock and Load
- Mage (Helm) — Advance Warding
- Paladin (Helm) — Improved Sanctuary
- Priest (Helm) — Divine Aegis
- Rogue (Helm) — Combat Potency
- Shaman (Bracers) — Riptide
- Warlock (Bracers) — Vengeance
- Warrior (Bracers) — Sword and Board
Rewards from the Shadowtooth Emissary vendor
Once you finish the Wild Gods quest, hold on to the Agamaggan’s Roar item because you can use it to summon more Delirious Ancients in these three dungeons to earn more Wild Offerings. After unlocking your class rune, the Shadowtooth Emissary becomes a vendor who will sell you different level 55 items in exchange for Wild Offerings:
- Shadowtooth Bag (contains a Darkmoon Faire card) — 10 Wild Offerings
- Band of the Wilds (Ring) — 12 Wild Offerings
- Breadth of the Beast (Trinket) — 12 Wild Offerings
- Defender of the Wilds (Shield) — 12 Wild Offerings
- Cord of the Untamed (Cloth Belt) — 15 Wild Offerings
- Crown of the Dreamweaver (Cloth Helm) — 15 Wild Offerings
- Godslayer’s Greaves (Plate Boots) — 15 Wild Offerings
If you’ve deleted or somehow lost Agamaggan’s Roar, you don’t have to complete Razorfen Downs again, you can just buy another from Rix Xizzix in Booty Bay, lower Stranglethorn Vale.
