What are you most looking forward to with WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria?
WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is coming with Dragonflight patch 10.2.7 and is looking like it’s going to be a fun event to tide us over until The War Within prepatch. Essentially a hyper-Chromie Time experience crossed with the Diablo seasonal model, Remix: Mists is going to give players an opportunity to level new characters from 10-70 without leaving Pandaria — with the exception of expansion-relevant content outside those shores — even if you want to!
There’s a lot to be excited about with the Remix: Mists. For one, they’re making sure a lot of new collectibles are available to entice even casual collectors — 32 mounts, a slew of unused armor appearances, and even the Mini Mana Bomb, a toy that has been unavailable since the original Mists prepatch event (fingers crossed that the Theramore Tabard returns too). Tired of farming for mounts and toys on retail? You’ll be able to pick up desirable rewards like Son of Galleon’s Saddle and the Gastropod Shell, albeit at a much higher cost than the new mounts. Transmog sets will be purchasable too if you’re tired of endlessly farming Siege of Orgrimmar for them.
The transmog and mounts aren’t the only thing to be excited about. As part of the leveling experience there will be a host of new abilities to try out, including the ability to use class movement abilities on other classes — ever wanted your mage to be able to Roll? Well now they can! — as well as some heavy damage effects that should make leveling a literal blast at times. The new Cloak of Infinite Potential looks pretty strong too as a cross-character heirloom that’ll ensure a second character can be leveled faster during the limited time event. Even better for those who missed out on the Wrathion Legendary quest chain in Mists, they’ll be able to unlock Ordos and get the original cloak appearances at level 70 — even for their Retail characters!
I think what I’m most looking forward to though is visiting all the small side hubs that I haven’t quested in for over a decade. Humorous and touching moments abound in Pandaria, and I won’t even get annoyed that none of waterfalls have treasure behind them despite Li Li Stormstout’s insistence that I should look behind them.
What about you? Are you looking forward to the Remix: Mists experience? Have you already decided on what race and class you want to play? Any rewards you’re targeting? Or are you planning to stay away until The War Within?
