When is the Overwatch 2 Halloween Terror event for 2024?

There’s a chill in the air, and a shiver is sweeping over the whole of Overwatch 2. Yes, my friends, I’m talking Halloween Terror. Over the years, this has turned into a real standout of the team shooter’s calendar for me, so I’m looking forward to all the the team has in store for us.

This is usually an easy event to predict, seeing as Halloween has a nice consistent date. But now that the Overwatch 2 Anniversary event runs into October, I think that Halloween Terror may start a little late going forward. My guess is that Overwatch 2 Halloween Terror will run from October 22 through November 12.

I heartily enjoyed the Overwatch/Diablo crossover from last year’s Halloween Terror, and I’m pretty certain that we’ll have the Trials of Sanctuary back in the Arcade. And who knows, maybe it’ll get buffed up with some brand new demons and nephalem this time around? Personally, I’m manifesting a Zultan Kulle skin. For anyone. For all of them. I just want it, complete with cackling laughter after every voice line. Please and thank you.

We’re also sure to have the classic PVE experience of Junkenstein’s Revenge back, as well as its second chapter, the Wrath of the Bride. There will be special challenges for playing the modes or completing tasks during the Halloween Terror, and that should have some scary good rewards available to win.
