How do you feel about working with the infinite dragonflight in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria?

An infinite dragon fills the frame, golden sands swirling behind her.

Since the days of The Burning Crusade, we’ve found ourselves pitted against the infinite dragonflight time (ahem) and time again. Their temporal meddling has caused us many a headache, forcing us to team up with both heroes and villains in a desperate gambit to keep our own history intact. If not for the bronze dragonflight recruiting mortals by the dozens in the Caverns of Time and elsewhere, the story we know and love would never have come about in the first place.

But now things have changed. We got our first taste of bronze/infinite collaboration when Chromie and Eternus worked together to stop themselves from falling through time. I’ll admit that I had my doubts when Nozdormu let Eternus go free, especially since he’s been having trouble seeing both past and future lately, but I definitely didn’t expect our next meeting with the headstrong infinite to involve a tear-jerking delve into her past.

With Nozdormu’s admission that some past events might merit changing, and Eternus’s realization that some points in time can’t be changed even when you try, we begin to see the potential for a reconciliation between the infinite and the bronze. Apparently Eternus has been hard at work convincing her fellow infinites to try things a little differently, because now they’ve shown up in force at the Timeless Isle.

While the infinites’ little experiment in Pandaria seems to have the support of the other dragonflights, it seems to me that there is a lot of potential for things to go wrong. Eternus herself seems trustworthy, and even helped us retrieve Tyr’s memories a few months ago, but can she personally vouch for each dragon she recruits? Then there’s the infinites who are actively trying to stop her, the temporal anomalies stirred up by our meddling, and a great big time elemental warning us that maybe what we’re doing isn’t a great idea…. Yeah I’m not so sure this timerunning stuff won’t turn around and bite us in the bumper.

How about you? What do you think the ultimate consequences of our aiding the infinite dragonflight might be?
