The Queue: Summer Games!

What a wild opening ceremony am I right? I did not have Phantom of the Opera does parkour, or a French metal band accompanied by flamethrowers and headless Marie Antoinettes on my bingo card. As always, go Canada go!

Wait, what do you mean this isn’t the Olympics that we do well in?

While I get to the bottom of this, it’s time for — The Queue!

Jon Hamm! He’s got the size and gravitas for playing an imposingly statured villain with a deep voice. Plus he’s got some excellent comedic chops and that really seems to go a long way when you’re making a memorable villain. Not wall-to-wall quips, but they’ve gotta be able to be a little funny at times — at least if they want to have some public consciousness staying power. I think that all of the most boring and one-note villains that we’ve seen in Marvel stuff have all fallen prey to that, where they’re all business and easily forgotten.

Other good choices I would put forward are: Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Stanley Tucci, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. They’d each bring something great to the table I bet. Certainly something memorable.

Chicken Little all the way. Chickens are descended from Dinosaurs and are easily higher on the pecking order than a small mouse child. No matter how good they are at driving tiny cars.

Oh sure if it was an art piece I liked or a character I liked. It would also help if it wasn’t super obviously nerdy at first glance. It can still be super nerdy, but I like it when there’s a bit of subtleness to things. This is ironic because the first thing I thought about when you said is there something else you’d prefer because I immediately had Deathwing on the brain. It’s hard to be subtle about a giant molten fire breathing dragon with metal plates nailed all over its body.

For the most part, yeah. I haven’t gotten my act together enough to get the M+ rewards from Season 4 yet, but that shouldn’t be too tough once I get a little time for it.

Otherwise — I came, I saw, I conquered. Several Mythic raid bosses fell before me and my guild, and while we’re never gonna be World First raiders, we had fun. I got lots of good-looking transmog, and explored the Dragon Isles pretty thoroughly. Although I’m likely not going to get the Bestest boy Taivan mount, that’s ok. I’ll probably be happier not grinding and obsessing over some of the pieces I’m still missing.

Here’s Bacardi lounging next to his latest trophy. It may be toasty outside, but he’s still doing his job and keeping us safe from dangerous stuffed mice. What a good cat! Since he’s such a good cat he’ll surely also reward your efforts in video games and make sure that you get the piece you’re looking for. Sadly, he can’t help turn your loss streak in Overwatch around, he’s not a miracle worker.
