Gamescom Opening Night Live starts soon, with the latest from Xbox (which means the latest from Blizzard) — here’s how to watch!

Gamescom 2024 kicks off today, and with E3 thoroughly out of the picture we’re all looking to Germany for the latest gaming news. While much of this convention happens on the show floor, there are several events you can enjoy from the comfort of home, including a daily Xbox stream that will include Diablo 4 and World of Warcraft. Neither Sony nor Nintendo are attending Gamescom this year, leaving a show that will be heavily dominated by Microsoft-owned studios. That’s good for us since we want to know more about these upcoming Blizzard titles, but may limit variety. (Don’t worry, Sony and Nintendo fans — they’ll no doubt hold their own events when they have news to share with us.)

Here’s where to watch Gamescom Opening Night Live and the rest of the events at Gamescom 2024 this week:

  • Tuesday, August 20
  • Wednesday, August 21
    • Bethesda at 5am pacific / 8am eastern
    • Xbox Day 1 at 6am pacific / 9am eastern — featuring Diablo 4
  • Thursday, August 22
    • Bethesda at 5am pacific / 8am eastern
    • Xbox Day 2 at 6am pacific / 9am eastern — featuring The War Within
  • Friday, August 23
    • Bethesda at 5am pacific / 8am eastern
    • Xbox Day 3 at 6am pacific / 9am eastern

The IGN stream will be a good one to watch throughout the event, as it will include not only game showcases but developer interviews from the event. If you want to catch the latest but aren’t sure which stream to turn on, tuning into IGN is a safe bet.
