The Queue: Labor dispute

Happy Labor Day — or Labour Day if you’re not in the US — everyone! Remember the wise words of our peon friend as you (hopefully) have today off.

While I put my feet up, it’s time for — The Queue!

MUSEDMOOSE DON’T BE FANCY, JUST GET DANCY

Q4tQ: did you know this, and have you abused taken advantage of the Hearthstone saving your position?

I did know this! I’ve known it for a little while, long enough to have my character always pointed out the door in Valdrakken’s Inn. I’ve heard that there are some places where you could even set your hearth to be ‘outside’ so that you could mount up right away after hitting your Hearthstone.

I don’t know where those Inns are, and I also don’t know if they actually exist — but it could be a fun exploration to go searching for them.

At the very least you can take this knowledge with you into the Worldsoul Saga and save yourself precious seconds of reorienting your character after each hearth. They’ll add up in the long run!

You’ll probably just waste them running in circles in the main town, but that’s a you problem.

MISTAH JAY WHY SO SERIOUS?

Q4tQ: Does anyone else think Forsaken should be able to use limbs from other races from the barbershop?

At first thought, I was in total agreement with you. It’d be a neat way to show off that since they’re dead they can just stitch anything onto themselves like an Abomination.

Then I realized just how many Forsaken we’d see running around with Gnome limbs and being totally mismatched. I’d have a hard time believing that the Rogue sprinting away from me with one Gnome leg and one Tauren leg would be able to out run me. I’m usually pretty good at suspending my disbelief, but that one might be a step and a half too far.

I do however think that Forsaken should get to attach an extra limb onto their backs like an Abomination. As a racial ability they could specialize that extra limb into something that casts a damage or healing spell every 15 seconds in combat. To have a little extra back-up.

SO RAISE YOUR GLASS IF YOU ARE ENO IN ALL THE RIGHT WAYS

QftQ: Say you’re given the ability to direct a special World of Warcraft six-episode series based on any questline in the game. Which questline would it be (only pre-TWW for spoiler reasons), and what would you change about it?

I’d love a series about Ragnaros and the heroes that banded together to defeat him at the Molten Front. I feel like that was a pretty solid little patch story-wise. It had a rag-tag coalition gradually beating back the flames and assaulting an Elemental Lord in their domain to save the World (of Warcraft.)

You’ve got Malfurion and Hamuul Runetotem for your main characters, and Majordomo Staghelm and the Druids of the Flame for your main Antagonists. Lots of opportunities to have themes of rebuilding after devastation and how to stand up against a primal force of nature even though things look bleak. We could even sneak in a flashback episode that hits the highlights of defeating Ragnaros in Molten Core.

Sure we’d spend a fortune on ash makeup for all of our characters, but it’d be worth it!

SO IF YOU’RE TOO SCHOOL FOR COOL (I MEAN) AND YOU’RE TREATED LIKE A RED

dang, the AH is extra mega super slow right now

Good News! Apparently, it’s been tuned up over the weekend. Hopefully, the Warcraft economy can bounce back after this brief interruption in service. Everyone make sure to say a big thank you to Blizzard dev Tom Ellis and their team for working over the weekend to get things smoothed out.

If things continue to go awry, just use it as an opportunity to stock up on more crafting materials for the eventual return to form — and dream of all the gold you’ll be able to make when it comes back.

Have a nice and happy Bacardi today! I’m finally home after spending the last 18 days house-sitting for my Mom, and he’s very happy to see me. The lil goober has barely left my side! So clearly he’s in a great mood to give you some luck as you continue to adventure your way through Sanctuary and beneath the Isle of Dorn.

Today’s Anna Earworm™: Raise Your Glass

P!nk is a great concert experience and if you get the opportunity you should go see her!

Have an excellent holiday everyone! You can help to make Anna’s tomorrow as nice as a holiday by leaving her lots of questions here today too!
