The Queue: In which we are definitely probably not talking about dragons
Nope. No dragons here. Definitely not. We’re hard at work digging into the latest Warcraft patch and, uhm…
Right! The Queue!
Let’s answer some questions.
Are you going to play Veilguard?
What will your Rook be?
So far, an elf mage who is a member of the Shadow Dragons. (Shadow Dragons just sound cool and I think they have the most fashionable armor cosmetics. Easy choice.)
Of course, I’m already thinking about what would happen if I were playing something else, making different choices, but I’m trying to get through one playthrough before I start second guessing everything.
You playing the new Dragon Age? Are you going to share what your created person looks like with the Queue?
In which I think BioWare has finally learned about the existence of hair. (There are 88 different hairstyles and they are not all just variants of bald or static Ken-style hair.) It even moves when I run around!
How many dragons are there in Dragon Age?
In comparison to games like Dragon’s Dogma, Baldur’s Gate, and Skyrim, where would you rate it in terms of dragons per dollars spent?
I have not played all of those games but I can say with certainty that Dragon Age has a very low number of dragons per dollar spent. Dragon Age Origins had one (two if you count the Archdemon, three if you also count Flemeth), though you could encounter smaller dragonlings as (essentially) trash mobs here and there.
Dragon Age 2 had a single dragon (two if you count Flemeth). Not very dragony at all.
Dragon Age Inquisition is a highlight here, with 13 dragons (14 if you count Flemeth, 15 if you count Flemeth and Morrigan, though you’ll only ever see one of them as a dragon in a single playthrough).
Dragon Age Veilguard… I don’t know how many dragons per capita are in the game. I have only seen one creature so far that could be considered a dragon, but the lines get a little blurry in places.
So if you are looking for a game purely based on the number of dragons available, the Dragon Age series is a bit deceptively named. because the number of dragons is middling at best.
Dragon age, eh?
How old is Emberthal?
Like most things in Warcraft, Emberthal is 10,000 years old.
Well, that’s a bit of a misnomer. Everything in Warcraft either happened 10,000 years ago or within the last ten years; there really isn’t an in-between.
So, the next season of Plunderstorm is probably recolors of the season one Plunderstorm stuff, right?
Q4tQ: What do you think will be the most likely re-color of the rewards?
1. Royal Blue?
2. Obsidian Black?
3. Emerald Green?
OR
4. Not a re-color, all new rewards instead.
I shall end the torment of not knowing: it’s mostly recolors in black and silver. Here’s Wowhead’s rundown.
See, I can still answer Warcraft questions when I want.
Q4tQ: did you get any trick-or-treaters tonight, or did you turn off the porch light and play Dragon Age? :P
What a silly question.
I live on a two-lane road without sidewalks or shoulders, and the drive curves up a somewhat steep hill. There are no casual trick-or-treaters.
And that’s all for today my friends. I think I might go play some Dragon Age. I hope you all have a fine Friday and a good weekend to follow, whether you’re playing Dragon Age or not. I’ll see you back here next week!
