Diablo 4 has some goodies just ready to go home with returning players on the Eternal Realms

Did you try Diablo 4 at launch and decide it was not for you? Blizzard invites you to test the waters again with the Welcome Back Booster, a limited-time bundle available beginning November 19. Let’s dive into all the goodies you, too, can receive.

The Welcome Back Booster provides a slew of goodies for characters on the Eternal (non-Seasonal) Realm. To claim them, log in to the Eternal Realm on that character starting November 19 and travel to the tavern in Kyovashad — the same building where you accessed the wardrobe for transmog before patch 2.0. Interact with the Fated Reliquary, and you, too can unlock boundless (well, okay, pretty bound) riches:

  • Boost to Level 50 (if the character is already level 50 following the expansion level squish, you still receive everything else)
  • Three different builds to choose from for your class, with a full set of legendary items and a completed skill tree for the build.
  • All Altars of Lilith unlocked
  • 1 million Gold, 1000 Obols, 1 Scroll of Amnesia, and Crafting Materials

For a player just returning to the game, this is huge — the Welcome Back Booster lets you dive right into those last ten levels, experiencing the endgame all the quicker, without having to tackle finding those pesky Altars of Lilith for their rewards (although don’t forget to claim those bonuses from the zone Renown tracks). Even better, players with and without Vessel of Hatred can leverage it! That said, if you own Vessel of Hatred, Blizzard still wants to reward you — you’ll be able to use this boost on two Eternal Realm characters instead of one.

Some of the rewards you’ll receive (and the underlying systems that use them) didn’t even exist at launch. For example, the Scroll of Amnesia gives you a full (not to mention free) skill tree reset. Once you’ve picked your build, you’ll want to leverage your gold and crafting materials to temper as much gear as possible. And don’t forget to spend those Obols at the Curiosities Vendor in major towns to gamble on additional gear or Aspect upgrades.

Now, a critical note and caveat: this is only available for characters on the Eternal realms. The character can be on Normal or Hardcore, but the Welcome Back Booster does not help you hit endgame on a second (or third, or fourth) character in the current Season. That said, if you’re blasting Seasonal play, some other bonuses are coming soon that you can definitely leverage.

And that’s it! Starting November 19, log into the Eternal Realm on one (or two, for VoH owners) characters for a launch into the current Diablo 4 experience. Enjoy!
