The Queue: Just another Tired Thursday

Hope it’s not a worse day
That’s my curse hey
It can always get worse say
Just another tired Thursday

Been watching Arcane, playing Veilguard, and waiting.

JALAMENOS

There’s a BG3 mod creator that made a mod that makes your tattoos and makeup glow, but before he could fully finish it and make it public, the files got corrupted and he lost all data, and have been unable to replicate the mod.

But some of the teaser screenshots still circulate on Nexusmods, and it just makes me sad because I’ll likely never be able to make something like this without that mod:

I really need to start a new BG3 playthrough but unfortunately my best playthrough had a gigantic bug that wouldn’t let me progress to Baldur’s Gate proper and then Veilguard came out and I’ve been playing that.

I do think the glowing tattoos idea would have been cool. It’s weird to me that both BG3 and Veilguard don’t have any DLC coming.

Q4TQ: when Blizzard adds something like the Night Elf Mohawks to the game, do you think they mean it fully as a joke, or do you think deep down the Night Elf Mohawks do exist somewhere in the lore (even if with very little relevance in the grand scheme of things)?
Like, perhaps they’re a minor guerilla group that fought during the Third War and got some victories in Ashenvale or something.

The Kaldorei Tel’allator (lit. ‘Children of the Stars Crown Renders’) were a militant anti-mage order that formed shortly after Illidan created the new Well of Eternity. Terrified at the idea that magic like that which the Highborne practiced might return to their people in the wake of Kalimdor’s destruction and the exile of the Highborne following Sunstrider’s arcane storm, they formed a militant front that were not afraid to take action — even action others might find distasteful — in order to protect their people from magic.

Their traditional hairstyle, the Tel’allator, was meant to represent the gigantic rending of ancient Kalimdor by the Well of Eternity’s implosion, a grim warning of what Azshara and her magicians had caused to happen to their people.

While the Tel’allator were a very determined and focused order, they lacked much in the way of diplomacy, caution, or political savvy. They were also less than what one might call concerned with self preservation, and by the time of the War with the Satyr a few centuries after the destruction of old Kalimdor they were all but extinct.

Rumor that one of the order survived accidentally after a battle at the Caverns of Time who found himself leapfrogged from point to point in Azeroth’s history, always fighting to defend his people from encroaching magic and threats, have never been substantiated. When asked, he is reported to say I’m a Night Elf Mohawk, fool as the translation magic used to communicate with his anachronistic Darnassian dialect was created by a High Elf with a grudge against the Tel’allator.

I guess I’ll get Netflix in December since I can’t check the internet without being spoiled on Arcane S2

I can’t believe Vi and Jinx get married in the last episode.

This is a joke, people, relax. I believed it just fine, it was pretty obvious when Vander got Caitlyn pregnant that it was going to happen.

I hope nobody actually takes me seriously here.

FALLANGER

the swordiest dagger that i know is from wrath.
https://www.wowhead.com/item=37377/netherbreath-spellblade

This one is almost the exact same model as a crafted 2h sword. I know it’s a 1h sword and not a dagger, but it’s a 2h sword model used in one hand so it’s still ridiculous imo.

If we’re dagger purists, the Twinblade of the Hakkari feel like a really sword like dagger to me. The Talon of the Tempest is freaking huge,

ABOMINABLE ROXXII

Wait how did they add a female mechagnome death knight skin into Hearthstone but we still don’t have a goblin skin!?! I thought I told Celestalon to get on this!!!

Tell Roxxii. I want her to know it was me.

More seriously, I’m sure Celestalon isn’t sitting in a room somewhere petting a white cat and cackling at you right now, Roxxii.

Okay, that was the Thursday it was. Thanks everybody.
