How to get to the Liberation of Undermine raid entrance when the raid opens on March 4

It won’t be long before Season 2 of The War Within starts, and one of the most-anticipated activities in patch 11.1 Undermine(d) has to be the Liberation of Undermine raid — an extremely fun and flavorful run through Goblin territory (including the luxurious Gallagio casino), saving the city from the Chrome King Jastor Gallywix. But before you can do any of that, you have to know how to get there!

Luckily, the Liberation of Undermine is nearly in the center of the zone, outside the western walls of Incontinental Hotel — the gigantic posh hotel in the center of Undermine that is intended to be our base of operations for 11.1, especially once you start unlocking features tied to the raid renown. To get to the Incontinental, you’ll need to complete part of the Undermine(d) campaign, which can be started by a level 80 character who has completed at least the level-up campaign (the post-80 Khaz Algar campaign is not required).

When patch 11.1 goes live, you can start by picking up When Opportunity Explodes in Dornogal at the Founder’s Hall; this first chapter is 18 quests long, and will culminate in you being able to travel to Undermine via rocket drill in Gutterville in the newly-uncovered southeast corner of the Ringing Deeps — this will be one of your ways to travel back and forth between Undermine and Khaz Algar.

If you want even easier access, once you start the second chapter with Welcome to Undermine, you’ll head to the Incontinental Hotel with Venture Company boss Grimla Fizzlecrank and meet Paks Topskimmer, the Goblin responsible for the hotel’s odd name (he claims it’s because it’s inside the continent, though you have the chance to suggest the much more appropriate Intracontinental Hotel, much to his dismay). Paks, the hotel concierge, will also allow you to set your hearthstone to the hotel for easy access to the raid; the raid also has a flight point that you can get to from the rocket drill landing pad, making it quick to get to the raid even if you prefer to keep your hearth in Dornogal.

Patch 11.1 goes live on February 25, and Liberation of Undermine opens on March 4. We’ll see you in Undermine soon!
