The Queue would always rather be napping

Naps aren’t just a pastime, they’re a way of life. A way of life I would rather be following right now.
But my dedication to you, fellow Queuevians, is so great that I am here answering questions (questions?) instead. Let’s get to it, my friends.
didn’t feel like playing WoW last night, don’t feel like playing WoW tonight
I blame the 11.1 release date announcement.
Weirdly, I have been feeling the opposite. There’s a lot I haven’t bothered with, and I’ve done very little in game since finishing Ahead of the Curve. Now that I know patch 11.1 is closing in, I’m spending time dusting off alts and getting them enough gear to be easy to play, knocking out side quests I never bothered with, and collecting some renown (I am absolutely terrible at grinding renown). I’m not devoting a all of my free time to this endeavor, but I am spending more time than I have been.
Getting back in the habit, maybe.
So i just started to do zekvir at ?? and it is a bloody pain
I learned that the poison is a snare type debuff so anything that clears snares clears it, in my case vengeful retreat works wonders, the abilities are cones but as a melee is not that hard to evade them.
The pain is the bloody egg, i have died to it a lot of times, either because its spawns in a vertex that doesn’t leave space to run, to close to the wall so i can’t see the boss actions, or is just where the boss is casting everything.
Send help, is going to take a while xD
I have decided this is one of those things I don’t have to do. I probably could if I really worked at it, but… do I want to? Do I care that much? Does it even reward me with a nice hat? (Note: I went and double checked this, just in case I had to figure this out.) No.
It’s been very freeing to realize there are things I can just not worry about doing.
However, I wish you the very best of luck. This is a tough one and it takes time, practice, and tenacity. Go get ’em Ray.
Do you get excited about buying games even if you know you’re not going to play them right away?
There is something strangely thrilling in buying a half dozen games on sale at Steam that you then forget you bought and rediscover a year later. But usually if I’m excited about a game I’m buying, and not just thinking “ooh, what a great deal!” it’s because I want to play it which means I’m going to play it.
I’m not very good at delayed gratification. If I buy a game and I’m excited about it, I’m probably gonna be playing it. That’s just how it is.
Q4TQ: What is it about Blizzard games that has captured our hearts so? Why are we stuck on them so much?
World of Warcraft is the Hotel California of video games. We can check out any time we like, but we can never leave.
And that’s all for today’s question-light Queue. I hope you all have a great weekend, and if you have questions leave them for Cory to answer on Monday. I’ll see you back here next week!
