What are you most looking forward to in The War Within patch 11.1.5?

The War Within patch 11.1.5 arrives today and while the “minor” patches are never as exciting as the tier patches there’s a lot of good stuff coming with 11.1.5 that I’m looking forward to. I am admittedly still on the fence about the return of Horrific Visions but are other features I can’t wait for.

Probably the happiest change for me is the increase in the individual Cartel reputation from quests and events; while it is progressing at a solid pace as I adventure in the Undermine the amount required to become exalted with all four cartels was daunting and I was concerned I couldn’t finish before 11.2 — that concern is gone. I’m also happy for the Winds of Mysterious Fortune leveling experience buff (the reputation buff isn’t as useful for me since it doesn’t apply to the Undermine reps) although I haven’t decided which classes to take advantage of it with.

I’m also looking forward to the Dastardly Duos event when it goes live in June. I ran through the fights a good amount on the PTR and I found it quick and fun; while the rewards aren’t as comprehensive as they are for the Visions, neither will the amount of effort required to earn them. Sometimes I want to have an arena-style fight against automaton bosses and the Dastardly Duos definitely scratches this itch.

I do think that what I appreciate the most, though, is the staggered release of the content. We’ve talked before about how sometimes it seems like there’s too much to do at once and it seems like someone on the development team is paying attention because the three events coming with the patch aren’t simultaneous — the Winds of Mysterious Fortune end at the same time that Horrific Visions return, and while the latter will have some overlap with the Dastardly Duos at least there will be a fortnight where we can concentrate on just the Visions. Unfortunately those who want to tackle the Duos immediately will have to wait, but those of a more completionist mindset should be happy that everything isn’t going live today.

What are you most looking forward to? Are you psyched for the return of Horrific Visions? Do you plan to spend more time leveling alts or fighting the Duos? Or is the plethora of class changes the real draw for you this patch?
