Which minor World of Warcraft character would you like to see get more screen time?

There are legendary figures in World of Warcraft’s narrative such as Jaina Proudmoore and Thrall, there are major characters that feature prominently for an expansion or two like Bolvar Fordragon or Talanji, and then there’s the rest of the cast. It’s likely impossible to give an exact number after twenty years of Azeroth’s story, but there are easily hundreds of minor NPCs that we have interacted with over the course of eleven chapters of adventuring.

Everyone who plays WoW has their own favorite characters. There’s nothing I like more than a running gag, and seeing Millhouse Manastorm pop up in nearly every expansion always brings a smile to my face. But lately, I’ve been pining for some more time questing alongside Dagran Thaurissan II. We first met the Dwarven prince when he was a wee baby in an extremely uncomfortable-looking stone crib, but seven expansions later he’s all grown up and ready to accompany us on some of our adventures.

While initially seeming a bit bookish, Dagran proved himself more than able to handle the dangers of exploring the depths of Khaz Algar as we assisted him in unraveling the mysteries of the Ringing Deeps and the emergence of the corrupted Skardyn. His measured approach to unlocking the secrets of Earthen history was refreshing as we restored the Vault of Memory and heard keeper Archaedas’s version of events.

Rather than cheer and race off to the next excavation, Dagran is quite doubtful of the account recorded on the discs, and even seems willing to question the entirety of the Titan’s narrative. I immediately champion any character that keeps a level head and skeptical approach, I’m hoping that we’ll get to continue helping him uncover the true motives of the Titans as we play through the Worldsoul Saga.

So which relatively minor character would you like to see step into the spotlight in the near future? Have any of the newly introduced players in The War Within made an impression, or is there someone from our recent past that you’re dying to see return to the narrative?
