The Queue: I could tell you I didn’t forget it was Thursday

I mean, I did in fact forget it was Thursday, but I’m capable of lying, so I could tell you I didn’t forget.

I did, though. I may or may not have gotten to the point where I’m modding Starfield with Power Armor from Fallout, while also modding Fallout with Starfield themed robots. I know, I could just get the Captain Cosmos PA from the Creation Club, but that costs money and I don’t have any of that.

Yes, I am still that one guy you know who really likes Starfield and wish other people had given it a chance. I was that guy for Diablo 3 and nowadays everyone thinks that game was a masterpiece, so I figure I’ll just try and wait it out. Besides, I’m likely going back to WoW next week anyway.

I haven’t, but I have Thor’idal in my bank, and have had it since it was current.

Funny story, we raided Sunwell on alts, and I tanked because we needed someone geared enough to hold threat and not die, so when it dropped our guild rules stated that as a main I got first pick of any loot drops I wanted. Since nobody was playing a Hunter, I took it over the Rogue alt of our guild’s Hunter lead.

Teach him to take my Ashkandi. I legitimately think he cried. I’m still not sorry.

In Fallout 4, you can in fact rename your weapons at a workbench. My current playthrough, I have several guns — a laser weapon named Burny McZapface, a lever action rifle named Shooty McGunface, a .44 Pistol I’ve dubbed Gunny McShootface, and a radioactive rocket-powered Super Sledge named, oddly enough, Friendship.

In WoW, if I could rename weapons, I’d rename my Lionheart Executioner The Sword of Ill Omens, Ashkandi would likely be changed to Thunderdragons Ho, and Sulfuras I would probably name Friendship or possibly Fiendship or maybe just Is Magic if I felt puckish.

All of my Diablo weapons would be named Blessed Blade of the and not finished. Even things that weren’t blades.

Gee Emm Oh Dee. Like it’s an acronym. No idea why.

I mean, if someone could guarantee my safety, it’d either be the Jersey Devil or Richard Sharpe Shaver’s Deros. The whole Shaver Mystery, really.

Otherwise maybe Ogopogo? There are so many cryptids, man.

Seriously, don’t overdo it. I know you want those mounts and/or gear, but please, be kind to yourself.

Even in those rare cases where Smilodon lived near something Mammoth adjacent like in California, it’s a rare carniv0re that’s going to pick a fight with an animal that weighs at least eight times what they do. We can’t all be Wolverines.

Also, Smilodon’s teeth were very specialized tools. It would be a bad use of such specific hardware to go after a multi-ton animal that could squish you. Humans managed it will numbers, distance weapons like spears, and fire.

I still think it’s cool that Synapsids, the ruling clade during the Permian, managed to make a comeback in the Cenozoic and reclaim their dominance. I do wonder if the Archosaurs are planning a similar resurgence once Humans kill off most of the life on Earth.
