The Queue: F is for Frog
It’s Wednesday, and frogs don’t need any more reason than that. Let’s Queue.
Q4TQ: does the existence of Void Storage imply the existence of Light Storage, Fel Storage, Arcane Storage, Death Storage, and Life Storage?
How do the different types of storage work within the established Warcraft cosmology?
Is this what we’re fighting for? Did Sargeras stab Azeroth because he wanted more bag space?
Shhhhh!!! You’re going to cause some sort of existential crisis if Azeroth thinks she’s being tortured for bag space.
That reminds me, I need to check to see what’s in my Void Storage.
I did this after the announcement, and discovered I had a massive assortment of random armor. Nothing that registered to me as important, just a whole bunch of blues and greens, and pieces of some Mists of Pandaria sets, tucked away years ago for reasons beyond memory. A time capsule of things I thought were important a decade ago.
I looked through it and then vendored the lot.
But have any of you discovered unknown treasures (instead of unknown trash) in your void storage?
Water is pretty good, I should drink it more often.
If you are reading this, you should stop and get yourself a glass of water (and then also drink that water).
Q4tQ Which elevator boss do you think has killed you the most times?
Undercity.
So many times I have run in and seen the elevator platform and thought “I can make it,” but my estimation skills are clearly very bad.
Q4tQ Do you think Tirion would’ve survived Legion if he had asked for “ONE BLESSING BUT NOT MY FINAL ONE” from the Light in the fight against Arthas?
The Light may protect you, but you shouldn’t expect it to do all the work. The Light helps those who help themselves: you should be using the power the Light has granted you, power you have trained and honed, in order to wield the Light in the defense of yourself, your friends, and Azeroth.
Yelling “the Light will protect me” is not in and of itself a shield. You are the shield against the darkness and dangers of the world.
Tirion should have known better. He asked for one final blessing, begged for a sort of special dispensation of power beyond his abilities in order to defeat a great evil in the Lich King. But it’s the height of foolishness to expect such miracles every time you ask them — you have to put in some work and use the Light in your own defense.
In short, learn to time your cooldowns better, Tirion. This is your own fault for expecting the Light to do all the work in this relationship.
And that’s all for today, my friends. Take care of yourselves, drink some water, and celebrate the fact that we’ve made it half way through the week. I’ll see you in the comments section.
