The Queue: Back at home base

I’m home now and everything is back to normal. I’m typing this on a proper keyboard, in front of a proper monitor, at my proper desk. It’s glorious!

While I try to remember where I left that thing, y’know that thing? It’s time for — The Queue!

Hades 2 could still be coming out this year!

If it does, it had better win all of the awards, but especially the OST. I will take no other games in its place. I mean, unless John Williams wants to score a video game… Is this the year that Indiana Jones would be up for awards? I can’t imagine John would do the whole game, but his theme would probably be all over that…

I hope you’re ready to punch many dolphins.

It’s August! It’s been pretty chill so far. It does still feel weird not to be visiting a carnival every day, though. Someone should make a year-round carnival you could go to, with like fun mascots and rides themed after movies and stuff.

I bet it’d do really well.

Do I really have to rescue you? What if I just chose the three hyenas from The Lion King? Then I could say I tried, but not very hard.

I guess the problem is that you never said who kidnapped you. What if you’re in space, and I draft Jaws (the shark), Jaws (the Bond villain), and J Laws (the Actress). My team’s theme is on point, but might not be super effective at space rescues. Unless Jaws gets a jetpack, and J Laws has been unfrozen from cryo sleep early by a lonely jerk — I don’t think even Sharknado had sharks going to space and living through it.

After all of that, here are the two teams I would choose to really overcome any odds and save you from the kidnappers. One Blizzard-themed, one not Blizzard-themed.

Team One: Bugs Bunny, Domino (from Deadpool 2), and Hellboy. Bugs has his whole trickster god that gets away with anything thing going on, Domino’s luck power takes care of anything past that, and Hellboy has seen enough weird stuff — and worked with weirder — to roll with any punches that arise from that combo.  Honestly, I was really close to just doing Bugs Bunny and Jay and Silent Bob for comic relief while Bugs did his thing, that’s how strongly I believe in the bunny.

Team Two: Hamuul Runetotem, Kel’Thuzad, Kael’Thas. We’ve got Druid bear power, Necromantic death and destruction, and the strongest Fire Mage I can think of to leave anything that isn’t already a bear mangled skeleton as a pile of smoldering ashes.

I just hope you don’t get caught in the crossfire by accident…

I’ve got a plush snake that I sewed in Grade 7 Home Economics class kicking around here. I can’t think of anything from before that for sure. It was a big snake, I’m scared ot move it now because who knows how well that felt has held up. I could have a disintegrating Muppet situation on my hands here.

I heard it from a very reputable source on Blizzardwatch.com that Heroes of the Storm could possibly, maybe, potentially — be coming back.

Sure that source was my own hopes and dreams, but y’know… a rumour doesn’t need much more than that!

Heroes will live again! What is dead may never die.

Here’s the first picture I took of Bacardi once I returned home. He has gotten back into his proper position, and all is right in the world. Just in time too, as I think there’s a patch tomorrow… All sorts of nice new things that you’ll need extra luck for!
