Late Q4tQ: what’s the last achievement you got that you weren’t expecting?
Asking because I got this right at the end of the game – as the credits started. I’d tried for it, but it never popped up so I figured I missed something. But clearly there are ways to lose it even at the very end of the game, and as it turns out, I didn’t do those. Yay.
Not an achievement, but I recently got the Sea Turtle mount!
…in WoW Classic.
I wasn’t looking for it. I was just doing a little fishing to help level cooking, and there it was. I don’t even have this in retail. I just don’t know what to do with this information.
It’s very cute! It swims so fast! I love it!
I don’t think I love it enough to fish for it in retail. (What are the odds?)
Do you think you’ll be able to leave your stove on when housing comes out?
I hope not! That’s a serious safety issue, and just think of the electric bill!
But also I expect all of my fireplaces to be running at the perfect level of cozy warmth whenever I walk in, so maybe my perspective of safety is a little skewed. Kitchen safety? Worried about the stove being on. Everywhere else safety? Keep those fireplaces running 24/7.
Or the water running in the bath tub. I’d love to be able to call other player on a phone and ask them if their refrigerator is running.
Flooding might put out my perfectly calibrated fireplaces, which would ruin the cozy quotient of the house! So no one is leaving the water running.

This is a Schrödinger’s bank situation. When you don’t check, the bank is simultaneously updated and not updated, in an endless state of possibility, of uncertainty. Your precious items are simultaneously safe and destroyed forever.
Why bother checking? It will only give you a definite answer, and perhaps an answer that you don’t want.
Does anyone know if the Arathi Highlands questline is still around, or was it a limited time thing for 11.1.7 only? I never got around to it.
Also, I never had time to login and try Underpin. Brann didn’t get his hat back. Boo.
